Best Disney Dessert Ever?

Hasn't that dessert been gone for almost 6 years now?

I miss it too.

It's not on the menu anymore, but OCCASIONALLY when I go, if you ask, they can still make it. I guess it depends if they have the stuff for it. One of those "off the menu" things.

That was always my favorite dessert. It used to come complimentary with your meal.

It's nice that they can still make it sometimes. I always felt that the light pineapple was a perfect ending to a heavy meal full of meat.

-Anything from the caramel shop in Germany. And I mean ANYTHING.
-Creme brulee cheesecake from Wolfgang Puck Express
-The infamous 'Ohana bread pudding.
-Zeppoles with chocolate and whipped cream for Via Napoli

I'm not a huge fan of dessert. Don't get me wrong sometimes it's nice to have, but honestly I think most are just too sweet for my tastes. BUT I do have a small list of things I love at WDW..

The bread pudding from 'Ohana is wonderful. So good!

For a nice sweet treat at MK I like a pineapple (Dole whip) float and a pineapple spear. So refreshing when it is hot. Sweet but not too sweet.

It is seasonal, but the blueberry buckle at Garden Grill is really nice! And the vanilla bean whipped cream is wonderful!

The chocolate mousse from Boulangerie Patisserie is one of my favorites, but I have to be honest.. I take like three bites and then I'm finished. It's super good but it's really rich and sweet. My husband usually finishes it for me. :rotfl2:

And I know this is a pastry, but it's a nice sweet treat for me.. The cinnamon buns at MK Bakery. Yum!

Oh! And the maple fudge.. We like to buy a chunk of it at the beginning of the trip and we munch on it the whole week we are there. Main Street Confectionery has a ton of tasty treats. :thumbsup2

The Chai Cream at Sanaa.

Malted Chocolate Creme Brulee at Bluezoo.

This was completely one off, but the red-chile-dusted chocolate petit-four from one of the Flying Fish wine dinners.

For me it was the apple crisp desert at LeCelier, to bad it was not on the menu last time we were there!

Here are two that I love:

From Goofy's Candy Company

Rice Krispy Treat Dipped in Milk Chocolate, rolled in Butterfingers & drizzled in White Chocolate

I'm a crème brûlée fan. My favorites are the butterscotch one at the Coral Reef, the maple at Le Cellier, the Amarula variety at Jiko and the banana at the Kona Café.

I LOVED the chococlate on chocolate whiskey cake at LC. No, it doesn't taste at all like whiskey. I also love the chocolate/peanut butter cupcakes @ Starring Rolls in HS.

Six years ago my best friend and I had the (Banana-Chocolate Creme Brulee - with a chocolate spiral $5.99) from Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. We still talk about it...ridiculous!

Main Street Bakery's fudge. Num-num! I also enjoy eating their chocolate dipped rice krispy treats.

OK, guys... I need your collective genius. What was your best Disney dessert ever? We're headed down in May, I'm bringing a friend's 16 year old (her first visit) for her birthday, and I want to dessert our way through the World. Bring it on!

I ran across a YouTube video describing the Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake at, I think, 50's Prime Time. They gave a recipe, and I tried it at home - yummy.

IMO you will not beat Ohana's bread pudding with banana fosters caramel sauce.
Oh my that stuff is like heaven...and I am not a bread pudding fan.

Another wonderful treat was the peanut butter cupcake at Starring Rolls DHS.

2 other desserts not to be missed is at Sunshine Seasons - the chocolate mousse cake and the strawberry shortcake!! Mmmm, those are so good.
