We're going to WDW in hot, busy August. We'd like to visit Typhoon Lagoon one day. Is any day better than another? Weekdays v/s weekends? Our first full day is a Sunday and last full day is a Monday.

Sorry, the search feature is down!

I don't remember which day we were at TL last August. It wasn't a week-end tho. Probably mid-week. We were there at 9:30ish and the 'really good' spots were taken. But since we have just a 10 y/o with us, further back chaises worked out okay. I took a photo of the wave pool around 10:00 and I thought it was pretty crowded. Hah! I took another one at 12 when we were getting ready to leave....had to be 4 times as many people in there!! Best advice? Get there at opening on a week day.

went on weekday this june, TL got crowded early

During the month of July everyday will be crowded.

General rule is mid week is best, that is Tues, Wed, Thursday. But agin, during the summer months of June, July and until late August it will be crowded so plan to get there early.

We went to TL on a Thursday in May & it was very crowded. I spoke to someone who said Monday is usually a good day because people often start their vacations at the beginning of the week & are anxious to go to MK or the other parks & that the water parks got more crowded as the week goes on because people are looking to take a break from the hectic pace of the parks.

We went last week on Monday. It was drizzling, but warm and fun. We had the park almost all to ourselves. One of the life guards on the lazy river said it was the least crowded day all year. I agree, I think the beginning of the week is best since most people tend to hit the parks first. I would imagine it gets more crowded as the week progresses. Our first day was a Sunday, so we got MK over with that day to satisfy my niece and nephew and they were happy to do Typhoon Lagoon and DQ on Monday.
