Interesting! Have you had the fried chicken from Hoop Dee Doo Review or Trails End? I know people talk about that all the time as well.

I have not. I hope to try both at some point, but it just never falls into my plans. Basically despite having a year of Disney I still have not been to a bunch of places that I really want to try!

I feel like this happens at all restaurants. And I always wonder why they don't want you out of there at that point...

I think they are sometimes so incredibly understaffed at times...

I am hoping we get a little of that magic, we have never been able to ride TSM more than once a trip.

I hope you do too! We usually try and rope drop it and then get an FP for it.

Ha. I find this happens all the time! People will wait to go through the one open door even thought there is another one right next to it. It always seems so silly.

People tend to follow the crowd it sems, but I'm a rebel!

I saw this when you posted it on Facebook. I think this is amazing, probably because I can't keep anything alive. I am a plant killer.

Haha I am a plant killer too. I cannot for the life of me keep anything alive and I also can't stand bugs so I don't do any gardening. The hydroponic is pretty cool because there's no soil and no bugs. Hehe.

Most folks would prob agree with that. I am sad that we won't be riding TGMR one more time.. Of course we have ONLY gone on it once total! I don't think I even know where Universe of Energy actually is in EPCOT. Oh well, I am SURE we will find the Guardian of Galaxy ride once it's done.

Well trust me in saying that UoE wasn't that great and you aren't missing much. TGMR however was a classic ride. It's not my first choice of ride at DHS but I definitely enjoyed it a lot.

If you add a moat and a boat, I will be there!

Forgot to quote for the first part I read, but I can't believe you're heading back to the World so soon! We are making FPs tomorrow for our October trip, and that got me in a Disney mood So I figured I'd catch up some over here!

The shrimp on the other hand...OMG I don't know what kind of crack sauce they put on it but it was utterly delicious.

These were so good! We split one, and I'm pretty sure if they have it next year we'll get our own. I was really impressed!

I wanted some candied strawberries, but they ran out.

Sad! I really loved these - I hadn't had them before our trip this year, and they were amazingly delicious.

If they ever get rid of Illuminations I'm going to riot. Who's with me? #solidarity

Haha! I love Illuminations, but I'd be okay if they did something new, as long as it is like the new Happily Ever After show - so awesome that you don't mind the change

Eeek, less than ONE WEEK left until our Big Family Trip to the World! I have made minimal progress in packing, have been answering 12 questions a day on what to bring and what to wear, and I am trying not to tweak my spreadsheet, like, at all. The struggle is real, everyone!

OK I hope to get this TR done by the time we leave on Friday! I just have to finish this day plus a couple of days from our Pandora Trip...so here goes!

May 7th: Part 1 WHERE IS GROOT

It was our last day at WDW. Normally I'd be super duper sad but since we knew we were coming back in 2 weeks (and trust me, those two weeks were the longest wait ever!) it wasn't as sad as it normally is. So early that morning, we packed up our stuff and checked out of the Boardwalk and did airline check in as well. We stored our carry-ons with Bell services and we were on our way to DHS! This time we took a friendship boat. We did not get there at rope drop but just a little after.

I was still in high spirits after my BEST DAY EVER - so it was probably why I was skipping down Hollywood Boulevard looking toward's the Chinese Theater. Goodbye Great Movie Ride, I probably won't get to ride you on my next trip.

We did manage to ride TSM twice in that early time. I think I beat DH once and he beat me the other time. Grr. We had no FPs since we had some later that day at Epcot so we decided to do some Meet 'n Greets.

Here's a PP picture outside Pixar Place. I don't actually remember what we had for breakfast, but I think I ate a frozen banana...I mean, banana is a breakfast food right? And the nuts have protein!

Here's BB-8 again! I love that little round droid! So it's funny but if you stand to the left of BB-8 you appear taller, and if you stand on his right you appear shorter. (BTW is BB-8 a He or She? Should I just use "They" "Them" and "Their"? I want to be galacticaly correct, you know. )

Then it was off to meet everyone's favorite wookie...

We tried again to meet Star-Lord and I was ready to capture a selfie with Baby Groot - so it was to our surprise and chagrin when we entered the meet n greet area and realized there was no Baby Groot! WHAT?!?

Star-Lord explained how Baby Groot was helping Rocket with a special mission. I think my expression says it all.

OMG I can't believe I waited in line for this...

This Star-Lord was different than the one we met two nights prior, seemed to fit the part more though.

Well, if there is no Baby Groot I guess I'll just have to settle for a Star-Lord Selfie.

Before we left DHS I had to take a picture at Dee's Corner @natebenma will be glad to know that it was clean and free from trash and debris.

We caught our last ride on the Express Bus (which leaves behind RnRC) to Epcot. Our first FP+ was for Character Spot.

Love DH's expression in the picture above when he's hugging Minnie, hahaha. Don't know whether he was smiling or acting annoyed. But he does like Character Spot as the line to meet the characters is indoors.

May 7th Part 2: Dance Party and THE END

After Character Spot DH went to Festival Center to attend one of the seminars while I had more solo time! I went around and took pictures, went to Mousegears and bought my nieces some tiaras, then had some Starbucks and popcorn. Overall a very productive solo hour and a half!

I think we skipped our next FP which was for LWTL since DH was still in his seminar. When he was done we decided to meet for a bite to eat in WS. We decided on Mexico, but of course I made a few pit stops on the way.

I got that delicious watermelon salad we had on our first day at Flower and Garden.

And of course, the BEST SHRIMP EVER with some extra crack sauce.

As I was walking towards Mexico, I realized Pluto was having his Meet n Greet soon, and I got on line. I was probably the 3rd person on line.

Pluto was just so freaking adorable. As he was walking up, he saw my Starbucks and started gesturing at it. The CM asked if I had brought enough Puppy-cinnos for everybody! But I said the line at Starbucks was really long! (It was)

When it was my turn Pluto decided he wanted to have a dance party with me, so I obliged.

I met up with DH right before we got to Mexico. I decided I wanted some nachos, and DH went to go get me an avocado margarita!

I decided to add some bite-sized churros to our order as well.

I forgot how much I LOVED these nachos! The chips are fresh fried, I love the plastic cheese, and everything was just in perfect proportion.

And the churro bits were really good especially with the caramel sauce.

After lunch and before our last FP+, I had a very special Meet n Greet - a Dismeet with the one and only, @Raeven

We met up with Raeven and Josh at one of the stores at Showcase Plaza. I remember because I found an outlet and was charging our phones when they came to meet us. Sadly we had to leave soon, so we couldn't hang out for long, but we definitely got a picture this time!

Hope we meet again @Raeven! Next time Josh has to be in the picture and he has to smolder.

After we parted we headed to our last FP for the trip...

Luckily we did not get that wet this time even thought we sat in the front. I was taking video to show my nieces the ride in preparation for our trip in a week!

As we headed back I stopped at China to get the candied strawberries since they were out of them the night before.

We walked back around to International Gateway and then back to the Boardwalk in time to catch our Tragical Express bus.

Snow White didn't want us to leave...

But it was a magical trip...I loved everything about this trip and it was great to leave on a high note, knowing we'd be back to see Pandora in just a few weeks.

That doesn't mean we weren't sad on Tragical Express...

We made it to the airport and on our flight back home - this time no first class so no confusion about the bathrooms!!

Ah awesome. Where are you staying? We are running the 5k the morning of the 3rd, then promptly passing out until the afternoon where we'll have a few quick hours at MK, then back to the GF for dinner at Victoria and Alberts. On the 4th we move over to the Swan and then our whole afternoon and evening is at Epcot and we're pretty free - just going to eat around the world. On the 5th we have a 12pm lunch at Monsieur Paul and then most likely we'll have to leave for the airport after that. Let me know which day sounds good for you! I am not leaving the World without meeting with the food-queen Kastoney!

Awesome, we'll have to find some time to meet, maybe at MK on the 3rd as I'm sure Casey will insist on us going there first thing on Friday (our flight gets in at 8:30am). We're staying at CBR. Got a great rate plus with the $75 gift card a nigh we couldn't pass it by.

This week I tried to run a mile to start my "training" and I swear it really was the hardest thing I've ever done...

Good catch! I totally forgot about this but yes he injured his finger playing softball and tore a tendon before our trip. It seems like such a long time ago but after we returned he had a pin put into his finger to keep it straight and now he's going for physical therapy.

I'm sure Dee will be pleased that her corner is looking good!
