I'd love some advice on the available offsite hotels near Downtown Disney. Which ones would you recommend? Any to stay away from?

We usually stay on property but are going on short notice and most of the rooms in WDW are booked.

Thanks!

We stayed at the Best Western and like it very much. The staff is great, the rooms are large (very comfortable beds!), and there is NO parking fee. We used the bus service and found it to be very reliable. We didn't eat at the restaurant.

Also, it is in easy walking distance to DTD. We would stay there again.

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn two or three times and enjoyed it. I like their pool, and we've slept well there. They do have a parking fee, but I've found such low rates on hotels.com that they're equal to or cheaper than the other hotels on Hotel Plaza Blvd, and definitely cheaper than the values. I've also stayed at the Radisson Lake Buena Vista. Although it's not on Hotel Plaza Blvd, it's like maybe half a mile from that street, it's just off of I-4. Since it's slightly further away, it's often cheaper and it doesn't have a parking fee.
