We are going to Disney next month with my niece- it is here first time AND she will be turning 5 while we are there! We want to do a character dinner, with princess preferably, for her birthday dinner- what are your best suggestions??

Would love all of your suggestions!! If you have a better idea I would love to hear that as well!
Thanks.

CRT would be the top choice here (what better way for a 5 year old to spend her birthday than eating in Cinderella's castle). If you don't want to spend the money or credits on CRT, my next suggestion would be Akershus. I know the menu is not for everyone, so if you don't want to give it a try there is always 1900 PF with Cinderella, PC, LT and the sisters.

1900 Park Fare is a buffet and is pretty good. We love the character interaction here. You will see Cinderella, Prince, Stepmother, and Stepsisters.
Akershus is another good choice. The food is ok but you get lots of princess interaction. You get your picture with Belle (which is included in the price) and then have others rotate around the tables. We have seen Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, Jasmine, and Aurora here.

1900 PF is pretty good, the atmosphere is nice & the step sisters are HILARIOUS! I didnt think the food was all that to be honest, lol, but you will find something you like.

My vote also goes to CRT!

To add on to what sassy said, photo packages are included the the price at both Akershus and CRT. Akershus has a picture with Belle and CRT has a picture with Cinderella (the host princesses do not visit the tables).

Also, if menu/prices are an issue, note that both CRT and Akershus serve breakfast, lunch and dinner all with princesses. Breakfasts tend to be less expensive with more generic foods. 1900 PF only has the crew from Cinderella at dinner.

I would vote for Akershus. If you want a buffet and she might also like to meet a Prince, then 1900 PF.

Askerhaus for us! Tons of princesses, not just Cinderella. We thought the menu was good, but we are from WI and are used to cured meats and cheese ;). Our daughter will be 5 1/2 when we go for the 2nd time with her and I still love the pictures from Askerhaus from the first trip!

This will be our only character dining experience, so we chose carefully.
