best boating resort for teens

I have read on the boards that the boats run faster in the larger lakes - is this true??

Which of the resorts offers the best lake for the water sprites. This is what my family likes to rent and we are looking for more space to ride than what we had last year at CBR and CS.

We are considering CS so that we can use the 7 Seas Lagoon - is this possible and what are can be used?

Any suggestions?!?!

The Wilderness Lodge is a great choice. We have two teens and they love boating on Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon. I don't know about faster but it really is cool to be right there in front of the Magic Kingdom or zipping around the old Discovery Island.

Any of the MK resorts would work since you have both lakes to boat on. The EPCOT resorts only have the small lake to boat on.

Renting the water mice is one of my new favorite vacation activities! During our stay at the Poly, DH and I rented water mice and had an absolute blast zipping around the waters of the World! We loved it so much that we did it three times during our last trip! You just really get a sense of wonder and freedom out on Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon, enjoying the wonderful weather and incomparable views. I absolutely loved getting close-up looks at the GF, WL and CR, and of course Discovery Island! It was absolutely magical, and a really neat addition to our already-perfectly-wonderful Disney vacation!

That said, I would choose the Poly, GF, WL or CR for their water sports alone. I'm wondering though if its possible for you to just head over to the Poly and rent a water mouse there, regardless of where you're staying in the World?

Choose either Contemporary, Poly, GF, Wilderness Lodge or Fort Wilderness. You can go back and forth from Bay lake to Seven Seas Lagoon. It's a wonderful time!

Besides the water sprites you can use pontoon boats and sailboats at the Poly and GF (the only two places we've used the plan). Have fun!
