Best Atlantic Ocean Beach in Florida?

What is your favorite Atlantic Ocean beach in Florida?

What did you like about it?
Did you go there on a day trip from Orlando?
Was it good for kids?
Could you rent beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, etc)?

I'm partial to Palm Beach myself. It's clean and beautiful. I went to Daytona once and I didn't like it. Too many party-hardy types, kinda dirty.

I love the gulf coast beaches better. Destin, Florida is my favorite.

South Beach is the best on the east coast.

the best beaches on the Atlantic side are near Miami - which is around 4 to 5 hours from Orlando - so no day trips.

that say - the gulf has some very nice beaches around 90 minutes (might be more) for the ones close to Tampa - Clearwater Beach is very nice.

Cocoa Beach. Around 45 minutes.
