Chapter 17: Funny Stories From Past Disney Trips!!!
But to start some Pics & mini update about New Purcahses...

I also recieved in the Mail today...My Ebay Disney Pin order!!!

Evil Disneydad will not let the kids take them out until we head for Disney...
More on the Pins...as we already Know Trading Pins are one of Disneydad's new obsessions (yes I know I have alot of obsessions) but what I didn't tell is that the Whole Family has become overjoyed with The Pins...the kids Love getting them to trade...but each is different..I trade for Pins I want to Keep, yes they are the Hidden Mickey Pins,....DisneyMom likes to trade but mostly just likes the Pins so we bought Pins Last year that she just Kept (I Know thats just weird...buying a pin you just want)....Drew he is not sure about the trading part but is starting to get into it, he has his on his Fanny Pack, he is like Mom 7 wants to keep the ones he buys
...Elese' likes to trade but she is like me she is looking for stuff she likes & she trades for it...& Anna just loves to trade, she will trade with one CM for a certain Pin & then te next CM she sees she trades the Pin she just got for another one & so on...
Now with all this in Mind...& knowing I have to pay for 3 trips in the next year & a Half...I decided to buy a lot of Pins on Ebay...was not sure at first but with all the Help I got from You Guys I made the decision & bought 50 pins..well actually 25 pins X 2 (for the slow learners thats 2 copies each of 25 Pins)...
So the troops got home today & we surprised them with the Dresses & shirts..& after taking all the Pics
...we showed them the Pins by calling them into our BR 1 at a time & letting them pic 1 pin at a Time till we all had 10 each....for those slow at Math there are 5 of us...I bought 50 Pins...so each of us got 10 pins to trade...Now the funny part is that the Picking went just like the Buying I picked Pins I didn't like to trade...DisneyMom took her time each pick & grabbed the Best Ones..as Did Drew...Leesee got some to trade & some to Keep..& Anna did just like me & just grabbed 1 each time because she is going to Trade Danget (but she loves Pooh so she did grab a pooh on her first pick to Keep
ok so on with the meat of the Report.....
Funny Stories from Disney...I am going to break this down into about 3 separate updates over the next few days ...1 today, 1 on Monday Night...& 1 on Wednesday Night & maybe one more next Saturday...we shall see....
Funny Story #1: Jelly Rolls - When DisneyMom & I went by ourselves in 2002 I had just come off a period of time in my life where I had not had a drink in over 4 years
not sure why but I had not...So I told DisneyMom I was going to drink on this trip...she laughed & said ok I think I will also...
So we Ckin to Beach Club Resort & as usual we head straight to MGM...We Had a blast & that evening we ate @ The Brown Derby..ummm I am getting hungry as I type...I ordered a glass of Wine & so did DisneyMom..well as usal with our eating out...we stay a long time wanting to enjoy the Night as well as the Food..the waiter starts to notice right off that we are taking our time...as we only ordered appetizers & told him we wanted to take our time..Yes he was smart & listened!!...
Anywho he was very talkative & Disneydad likey talkative Waiters so we explained that this was our Fav Disney Rest & that we were without kids & that I was having my 1st drink in over 4 yrs...well he wanted to help
so he kept bringing out glasses of Wine for me to try...I think he brought out about 6 glasses of Wine...saying these were ones they were going to have to toss at the end of the Night...to say the Least I was happy
Well we closed down the Brown Derby (BTW OCD Disneydad ate at the BD 3 times that trip) & decided to walk back to the Beach Club...well on the way back we Saw The Bar
Jelly Rolls on the Boardwalk & decided to stop and listen to the Dueling Pianos..
Now to the Funny part of the Story...
We grabbed a seat in the back of the room & ordered a drink...DisneyMom Had a glass of Wine & Disneydad ordered his favorite A Bourbon with Water & a twist...Now ya'll should Know that I am a big tipper..always have been always will be (I think that Servers are the most under paid group of folks around they are to blame for a bad meal but only barely get tipped for a good One)..so on the first order I tipped the server a 10 spot & said hey next time ask the Bartender to put some alcohol in it..he laughed & so did I but it was mostly water...& I wanted to Taste the Crown..
Well as the night moved along I kept tipping big & he kept bringing me Mostly Crown & Limes & very little water if any!!!!...I had about 7 or 8 but who's counting It could have been 10 or 11 for all I know!!! we left Jelly Rolls & headed to The Beach Club...
Now I remember that part we walked over the bridge & oood & awwd at the Lights & then we walked into the Beach Club Lobby & we went up to the room & the Key did not fit...
Now I remember that part ...so I went down to the desk & got new Keys...& asked for our luggage to be brought up...
Now I remember that part..this is when I blacked out & do not remember what happened next!!! but DisneyMom says that the Bellman found me trying to get back upstairs & he brought me up with Him...He got us in our room & brought in the Luggage & left Happy (remember I tip well!!! DisneyMom says he left real Happy) Then she says I laid down on the bed & went to sleep...she even tried to get me top change beds But I said NO!!...
Just to complete the story I got up the next morning & never said a word about how bad I felt I just kept going ...although I was about to Die
we had fun plans & I was going to make sure We had Fun!!!
Just a leftover thought...Years later I met a gentleman who works for me & we have become great Friends...Well His Father "Indian"...Ya'll remember Him from when I got the Idea to do the Same April Fools & it turned into 2 more trips... Well he Drinks Old Thompson I thought this was funny cause He is Loaded & could afford Crown Royal..well he tells me one Night that
Jelly Rolls has been serving Old Thompson in Crown Bottles for years.. I asked How do you Know...& he says because My brother & I Owned
Jelly Rolls until Last year...so there I was In Disney drinking Old Thompson out of a Crown bottle & here it is years later & I know the guy who owned the
Jelly Rolls In Disney...
Now how's that for coincidence!!!!
Well that's it for tonight as My left wrist is Killing Me!!! & I am Tired from last Nights Exploits so I will end it Here or Now ok so I am going to end soon I promise!!!
