I love how you made each kid pick one pin at a time.

That reminded me of how we used to do Christmas when I was little.
It was my mom and dad. myself and my brother.
My parents made us open one stocking stuffer at a time..first me, then my brother, then my mom, then my dad and so on, until the stockings were done.

Then, we moved on to the presents...same thing again..one at a time, around the room, until they were all gone.

It took us like 3 hours to open our gifts every Christmas

Our friends thought it was nuts, as in their houses, it was just a free for all.

But in my house, my parent wanted to see every gift we got, and snap our reaction on camera....My mom loved to take pics!!

I'm only on pg 2, but I just had to tell you that when I read about your April Fool's joke, I thought, "Wow! What a stinker!!" And then all I could think of was the glum looks on the kid's faces as they un-packed their Disney bags.

But since you are now actually taking those kiddos to WDW, I will continue reading and hold out to see if my original opinion will be swayed.

I'm getting my corticosteroid injections on Monday and I'm not allowed to take any pain medication for four days before it, so I'm just in a steady pain right now. It will be all over soon and then... VEGAS! Woo hoo!

We always did the same thing growing up, and still do when I visit my parents on Christmas. I plan on keeping that tradition when I have children. It makes the fun last longer!
