Costumes are going slowly! One of the moms saw one and wanted to change a bunch of stuff. Grrrrr......

That's crazy asking for changes this late! Tell them no or I have to charge for each change!

And I'm out of fabric for Tink's so I have to do that after work today.

I am seriously considering leaving the front of it all wonky after our party that night. I can't bear to fix it because it makes me laugh but it is sooooo bad!

My policy on the changes.......you change it you pay for the change...........that keeps em from changing stuff most of the time!

I agree with you Disneymom, you change you pay, just like anything you order, you say what you want, any changes cost additional $$$.

This is the pickiest mom I have ever sewn for. Luckily she pays well but every year I say "never again".


Oh well, nothing I can do about it at this point. Got to finish tonight so I can deliver tomorrow.

Some customers aren't worth having as no matter how much you make off them, they are not worth the money!!!!

thats good that Kern came home I'm sure it was nice to have him back. Sounds like you had a full weekend!

Mine was okay. Chris and I have some big decisions in front of us. We just have to get moved out of our neighborhood...just gotta figure out what the best way to do that in this market w/o losing too much money.

Oh Leger, sorry you have to move. What a shame. Sounds like you don't want to really move? You said your neighborhood, hope you aren't having too many problems there. I hope you get it worked out and don't lose any money.

Can anyone tell me the shelf life of a Jack-o-Lantern? Apparently, I missed the bulletin on that one because we carved a few days ago and this morning I woke up to this.....

Holy Cow OB!!! I don't think the shelf life is very long once they are carved but I would think they'd have lasted a little longer than that. It's not even that hot here today???? Sorry about your jack-o-lantern OB!

Nope. Not done. I have been at work all day and just got home. Made some headway last night but tomorrow my sewing machine is going to be smoking!

I'm back. My friend who does my nails had to fly to England today. Her MIL fell ill over night and her and her DH are trying ot get to her before she passes. I had a bed feeling when she didn't answer the doorbell so i called her cell and sadly, I was right.
