Holy Cow!!

He was feeling almost all the way better.

But it was so crowded and he was overwhelmed and he doesn't like being the cetner of attention, so whenever anyone would give him a present and wish him a happy bday, He would go NOT MY BDAY and hide

Towards the end, he just wanted to go home and play with his new toys..

We ducked out early....My cousin and her daughter left about 5:30.

We left closer to 6pm

My BFF and Her SIL and kids and my Friend, and her dh and kids, stayed a bit longer and played

I just couldn;t take DS whining anymore. I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown

I'm sure Penny didn't mind and Cathy didn't mind that you left sooner. Basically the party was 4 - 6 right, so you left and they decided to stay, that's not a big deal. I know he wanted his toys and that's nice he liked them all.

The temp job I am working at is the American Red Cross and once a year they have this big Black Tie Party which is their major fund raiser for the year. I have some beautiful cocktail dresses but since I am working it am going to be on my feet a lot and can't see me wearing high heels, besides my bad feet I can't wear high heels much. So I'm not sure yet what I am going to wear. It should be fun though, all the big shots there from the area, the big money people, it is held in this very exclusive store that I can not even afford to look at, lol, but I'll manage this time, hahaha!

I am just watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding! Then prob will go to bed earlier tonight because we got up real early for a Sunday. Got a phone call at 6:45 from DH's family in Germany and woke us up, it was 7 hours later there.

Sounds like fun! And you get paid to go is even better! You get to go and enjoy the atmosphere but without the pressure to suck up to people you don't like and no pressure to open your wallet! Its all good in my books!
