Diane, I don't have one yet... I have every intention of getting one. I have some shopping to do this weekend and I hoped one would stand out to me. And if you want an autograph book, I can hopefully find one for you too. I hope that the pressure goes away soon so you won't hurt so much. Have you tried a sudafed? It might help aleviate some pressure back there.

I appreciate your offer for arranging for DW to have an angel uniform to sing the anthem tonight and while that might add a bit more oomph to "the rockets' red glare", I think we'll pass.

Hey Everyone!
Here's a quick picture of AJ's room....it's hard to get a photo of the whole thing, but you get the idea. The stars on the ceiling and wall are glow-in-the-dark....and the rocket will "eventually"have portholes cut out. Oh Yeah, the window is naked, need some ideas......any thoughts??

I RECEIVED MY SUMMER BOX!!!!

Kathy sent me some "wicked cool" things...I'm so excited!!!

truth be known, the simple fact that there was a lime green thong (okay two of them) was just so cool.

The box is a really cool lime green mini file type box......and IN The box:

temporary tattoos
a purple lei (did I mention I got....well...nevermind...)
summer crazy straws
DRINK UMBRELLAS---she is just so cool!
some tropical napkins
a LIME GREEN sprayer/mister...perfect for my upcoming trip to the world.
a Dopey plant watering stake
a mickey beach ball
and the whole box smelled heavenly from some lime green floating candles!!

Steph, the room looks fantastick! KMart carries "Defender of the Galaxy" bedding, maybe you could use the sheets to make curtains? I am off to the fabric store to see if I can com up with the material for all the new toppers in here.

Great idea Marsha...wonder if it's available anywhere else? The nearest Kmart is about 45 minutes.....course I drove by there 4 times in the last week, but no plans to head that way again soon.....sheesh

I brought the kids with me into work this afternoon, since I only need to be here for an hour or so. As we are walking towards the ballpark, I noticed a lot of commotion on the bridge, lots of police cars, ambulances, etc. It turns out that some guy is on the top of the bridge, threatening to jump off! Now there's a wonderful thing for my kids to be looking at. Hopefully, he will have climbed down by the time we are ready to leave.

Wow! I am impressed with your work Stephanie. What a cool room. I bet he loves it. I'd check around for space themed fabric or sheets. I just came from Walmart. Wish I'd known because I would have checked for you.

I've been to the store. I bet they wondered who I was cooking for. My basket was full of green peppers, onions and tortillas. Looks like I am cooking for an army. Thanks for all the good wishes for my mom. I'll pass them on to her tonight. Better get back to my slicing and dicing.

At JoAnnes Fabrics and Crafts,

The same blue color and it has stars and planet print. In the juvenile section. Very cute, and heavy enough not to be lined, but not heavy enough with out lining to be room darkening.

To Infinity and Beyond!!! I love Buzz.

I did not get exactly what I wanted, but I found something that will do. Off to make toppers, Pete did not leave the electric tacker out so the re-upholstery of the DR chair cushions will have to wait.

Laura, lovely isn't it! People need to think, and think some more. I hope they get him down.

Merry, I'll have the onions and peppers sauted, no need for tortillas.

Melissa, I made fajitas Tuesday night for DD's Birthday dinner! That's her favorite!
Are you making chicken or beef? We usually have chicken. I marinate the chicken all day then grill it.

I don't know what I'd do for a window treatment....truthfully, I'd love to see a large mobile of the planets right over the window and the heck with the curtains! (Which if you knew me.....you'd never expect me to say!)

Nice poufs, Marsha! I love curtains and have many, many different types for my windows. It's one of my fetishes. (Type A....one more time!)

I can't sew to save my life. My mom is a wonderful seamstress and her mom did it professionally. I'm just all thumbs when it comes to that stuff!

Crazy, busy day here. Needed to get SOME stuff done around here so I whipped myself into a frenzy early and just kept going. By the time Matt came home from his sleepover, I was ready to head off to the pool with a somewhat cleaner house!

Evening All! I'm baaaaaaaaaaccccccccckkkkkkkk! Unfortunately, I am leaving again tomorrow for my sister's house in Ohio. Taking the kiddies, LK's son, and my Mom for the trip. Good thing we invested in the van!!

We went Wednesday to Six Flags, but it ended up raining most of the day, so we decided to wait until Thursday to go to the park, and we stayed until today. I only packed clothes for 2 days, so there was a trip to Kohl's last night to get some(any excuse to go shopping!). The weather wasn't the best at Six Flags, it rained until almost 2 in the afternoon on Thursday. We did all of the shows in Sea World since they still went on in the rain. Then in the afternoon, we did a lot of the amusement rides.

Stephanie - great room!!!!

Marsha - nice curtains!!!!!!! Thanks for delaying the Carol box opening. I'll be back on Monday, so I'll be o.k. for the next scheduled date.

Too much else to comment on that I missed.
