Just wanted to share with the Friendies that my house (after 10 months) closed today. We are happy campers.

I think you're onto something! Surely the dynamic duo has to go on vacation. Maybe we could volunteer to take over while they are out of the office... Sipping peach bellinis and bloody marys must be a tough job, but hey, someone has to do it!

Really! Well do have experience, drinking experience! Heck I even think I could look pretty darn good with someone to drive me into work (like Kathie Lee) PLUS someone to do my hair & makeup every morning.

Hell yeah! We certainly could handle that job!!!

There's a discussion on the festival thread...this year they're selling banner tote bags (not the messenger bags). Redzinner put up a photo. They seem to have lots of them. (I'm guessing that the tote bags take up less material, so they could make more of them - you know Disney was taking note of how fast the messenger bags went last year).

I wasn't going to bring my messenger bag on the trip, but I might have to figure out how to bring it.

CRAP. It's not even THIS Saturday yet.

We got in at 3pm today. My husband was hungry so we got dinner earlier than planned. We were going to go to hte movies but the timing was off. We may go back later tonight dependent on what happens with some friends of mine.

Got back last night after 2 weeks at WDW and y'know, I could have spent another 2 weeks there! especially after experiencing the now chilly temperature at home!!!

We did spend a nice weekday afternoon in the Ditch where it was just us and a few other people in there. Couldn't find the Frida chair, but didn't want to inquire of strangers "Excuse me, but are you in the Frida chair?"

There is a nice picture of her in the Hacienda/Cantina though. We didn't make it to a Hacienda dinner, but did have Cantina offerings twice, tried the beef tacos, cheese empanadas and natchos, all tasty, and we thought they were a notch up from the previous Cantina's offerings. We sat inside both times, the first time it was just us and the staff in there, the second time more people had found they could go inside. The staff were great though!

We walked around and looked at the booths and menus during Thursday's preview night (but had just had a large dinner so didn't try anything), and Friday's opening day lines were crazy long at most booths. Usually we go by the booths on weekdays, but opening day was all we had this year before we had to leave.

It all goes too fast, but I guess that means it was a good vacation!

Great review Chelsi! Can you really only book it with the wine pairing? If that's the case, then I definitely can't do it. I was strongly considering booking this for me and my grandma, but she can't really drink with the medications she's on.
