bummer about the ulcer. I'm off the booze too because of steroids ... until we figure out what's causing this skin issue of mine I've been advised to say no to alcohol. It will help me lose weight so that's good!

Is the skin issue related to the gut worm problem? Just curious because I know from experience with my own disease that those skin issues tend to go along with it from time to time. Thankfully, I haven't had them in a while. Sorry to hear you have to abstain, I will try and pick up the pace to make up for it. Hope your skin problem is resolved soon Brenda.

my doctors aren't sure if this is related to the Crohns, which has been flaring off and on lately, or if it's just a new addition to the auto-immune line up. It's probably a little of both ... they told me it's fairly common for people with several auto immune issues to develop psoraisis that can flare really badly when the seasons change and that's what this seems to be. It does seem to be improving a bit but the steroids are making me want to eat all the time!

the trick I found for the Milk Shakes, is the ice cream has to be really hard when you start or it turns into a egg nog mixture.... not that is tasted bad either way....
