belly button piercing

I was 18- I really don't remember being in any pain

I hid it from my dad for about 2 months

I kept it in for a year- it fell out while swimming and I had no desire to go buy a new one to put back in

Its been 5 years- the hole is till there

I would NOT do it again- And I am not looking forward to how it will look after I have kids

I would never suggest to anyone to get it done

I never did it (just not interested in peircing anything but my ears), but one friend who did it used to get it re-pierced every summer b/c it irritated her when wearing jeans/pants in the fall and winter (and she'd remove it).

I had my belly button done when I was 17. My mom actually encouraged it Anyway once I got pregnant I am hospitalized for several months and with all the tests and all just took it out and let it close up. I have though about getting it redone but I have gained too much belly now. Maybe if I get back into my high school size it can be my reward.

I got mine in my mid 20s and have had it quite a few years now. No real comments from anyone except my doctor who saw how great it looked even through pregnancy.

No pain, still wearing original ring (banana barbell) and I still love it. Took a while to heal, but was worth it to me. Looks great even after two pregnancies.
