I'm sure you've all read disneyaddicted's TRthree decades of waiting I'm here to tell you what she didn't. Let's start with the cast from my point of view!

Me. Ah, yes me! I'm sure mom didnt tell you the real me. I cheer for skool and competition. I also do cheer tumbling and was doing track untill recently. I love disney in an undescribable way.however, I dont like it shoved down my throat every waking minute of the day. my mom's another story.

DM as i like to call mommy. hehe! scrapbooker. buys the stickers and then takes the pictures for it. likes pinacoladas and getting caught in the rain. O nevermind thats her favorite song. plans to retire in florida and become a CM at disney but she'll never admitt to it. is always there when i need her. who else could i talk to about the cute boy in science class?

DB a total rocker. spends his days blaring his electric guitar and/or music, and laying around the house doin nothin eating buritos. i think of him as a couch potato but the rents think he's really a genius. which i guess he can be but his common sense is nonexsistent. at times he can be really cool but we have our fights.

DD my daddy!!!!He's been my dad since i was 6 months old. he stepped up to the plate when my biological dad wasnt there. i guess you could call me a daddy's girl. He's a real hick. and i mean a real hick! you have the people who say their hicks and then you have the people that are hicks but dont even kno it.(thats my daddy) loves country music of course. is a mean cook much better than my mommy. works way too hard and way to much but i appreciate the money$$ cha chang!

ok, on with the good stuff now. I'm the kind of person who loves water. my bio dad (evil marty) lives in MI by the lakes and im always soakin up the sun in em'. so when mom planned a vacation my first thought was a CRUISE!!! i had seen the commercials before and always wanted to go.travling thousands of miles over water was my idea of fun. mommy booked the trip and all we had to do was wait.:hourglass the only thing was we needed evil marty's permision to go to another country. as you kno he is evil and he diagreed so mom had to re-book a different trip. she always wanted to go to disney ever since she was three. That day i came home from skool and mom nearly killed me on my way through the door.

"guess where we're goin!" she screamed i stared at her with a blank face. nothing could be better then a cruise. that's what i used to think.
"WE ARE GOING TO DISNEY!!!!!" guess my reaction wasnt the one she wanted. because she screamed "what's what's wrong with you we're goin to walt freakin' DISNEY WORLD." in my mind all i could think about was my boring one-day trip to disney land with evil marty and my oober evil stepmother.(can you tell i dont like them?) where all we did was run around in the scorching heat getting character autographs for the :maleficen: oober evil step mom :rotfl2: ah i kill myself
"what your problem" mom's concern brought me back to reality
"nothing it'll be fine"

THREE MONTHS LATER
three months after i got through all of my mommy's disney blah-blah (99.99% of mom's talk was about disney) mom and dad went to pick up the van that we rented. mom wanted us to come with her to get the van. she made a big deal when we said we didnt want to go. " gosh mom you act like getting the van is like goin to one of the disney parks" my brother told her mommy finally agreed to let us stay home

mommy and daddy pulled in to the driveway an hour later with our new van. it was amazing! no no, not the van! seeing my dad drive that soccer mom van was one of the funniset moments of my whole year. like i said my dad's a hick so seeing him planted in the seat a a blue 2005 mini van was a real joke. me and my brother rolled around in the driveway laughing histerically.:rotfl:

that night we did all our last minute packing. i packed a lot like i always do on vacations. once when we went to our cabin in the mountains for the weekend i packed a suitcase a bookbag another medium sized bag and of course my purse and i carried my slippers blanket and pillow. daddy wasnt to happy about that one. but anyways we stuffed the van the night before and colapsed in bed to try to fall asleep.

We stopped at Walmart to get some last minute necessities, Jim and I layed the seat down and made one big comfy bed. I was hoping to sleep the whole way so I wouldn't have to listen to mom go on and on about Disney, remember, I like disney, just not smeared in my face.

Mom is the kind of person that touches everything, if there's a button she will push it, a string, she will pull it, a mess on the floor, well , she leaves it for someone else to pick up, but you get my drift. It's amazing that for hours the windows in the van kept opening and closing and none of us not even mom at first figured out that it was from all the buttons she kept pushing. she blamed the broken window on me and Jim and all along it was her OCD.

Jacksonville was fun, Dad got lost. but we somehow found our way to a beach: close by the hotel where we were to stay at that night. my wish for a water vacation came true as i jogged across the cool sand on my bare feet occasionally stopping to pick up a sea shell or two.thats when i found a peice of sea glass i always wanted to find sea glass and i was so excited when i did. mommy giggled as i showed off my prize. "baby, thats not sea glass its rubber!" she broke the news to me. " "o it looks like it" i said and i put it in my pocket with the rest of my collection anyway

after that we headed to denny's for supper. daddy was so excited to eat there. he told us the story of how he used to crash there with his old buddies after a long day at the docks. we must of heard that story one thousand times. once we got there and saw the poorly decorated and beaten down dennys daddy was very bummed. the service was pathetic and the food was yucky. i was sad for daddy. me and mommy and jimmy walked back to the hotel as daddy stayed to smoke a ciggarette and reminece of better denny days.

i grew more excited at the hotel when mommy busted out the disney birnbaum book (her disney bible) as much as i wanted to listen to mommy read bout disney i still had to get a shower. lets just say that didnt go so well because i was so loopy i forgot to pull the shower curtain inside of the shower and i flooded the bathroom:eek: .hehe!my bad! daddy wasnt too happy bout that but mommy got a kick out of it. after that we went to bed. as crazy as it sounds i slept like a baby and im pretty sure the disney mommy did too because i could hear her snoring. mommy says she doesnt snore and when i told her to prove it she said she purposely stayed awake one night to listen to herself to see if she did snore. now does that make any sense to you cuz im still thinkin that was just a blonde moment.

the next morning we were up and dressed and out of there within an hour. sounds slow but thats pretty good for a family like my own. we fel asleep and didnt wake up untill mommy was screamin we're at the happiest place on earth. i thought what the mall but we were at disney instead. daddy got upset when one of the CMs said welcome home. i laughed at him! as we pulled in and parked mommy said do you believe it? we're in disney. im not sure but i think she got teary eyed. after that we unloaded the van and checke in to pop centry. it took us an hour just to get out info package and keys. we headed up to the room and thats when i really started to feel the magic of disney creeping upon me.

I just got finished reading your mother's report. It is good to have another view. You are doing a good job. Now don't make fun of us older people too much, ok?:rotfl:

Hi baby girl,
You are doing a great job on your TR. But remember what I told you?... Don't call me mommy...call me Bambi. :lmao:

I can't wait for the rest of it, it'll be nice to know for once what goes on in that pretty little head of yours.

WOW, you are 13! This is a great trip report! You write really well! You and your Mom crack me up!

Love your trip report. My dd's are 11 and 15 and my ds is 18 and a guitar rocker as well. Its so nice to see kids that really love their mommy. Its hard to be a teanager and a girl always needs her mommy.

Cant wait for the rest of the trip report.

Great Job! It is great to read a report through the eyes of a 13 yr. old!! I can't wait to read the rest!!

Lan Thankyou for reading. I will be nice, Mommy taught me to respect my elders.:)

Disneyaddicted (mommy) I thought I only had to call you Bambi at the mall?

Mas1060 Thanks for reading. I will post again soon.

djcandyrocker Thankyou, writing is one of my passions.

Sparkie I do love my mommy, even if she is nuts. :)

Jovie98 I am so happy you like my TR so far. (it's better than Disneyaddicteds right?) :)

I'm loving your take on the trip! You crack me up. Can't wait to do more. You're doing an excellent job. Oh, and my 16 yo dd calls me mommy, too.

Me and my 2 girls ate at that Denny's in Daytona. My dh and my 2 boys were at Daytona speedway. Anyways, we were the only ones in the place, and the waitress gave us free dessert.

My 2 dd's think I am a Disneynut too. Does your mom know you are writing a TR? It's okay, I was just wondering if she does.

Hello, I am Reeses mom, I do know that she is writing a TR. I am such a fanatic she wanted to tell the story as she saw it.

Free dessert...yum!

Reese, you're doing a great job! You write very well for your age - keep it up! :thumbsup2

Reese -

Your mom and I have been posting on each other trip reports since I began my pre-trip report for our December trip. I'm loving her report and couldn't wait to see yours.

Great job! I :teacher: teach language arts to 8th graders, so I get to see how 13 and 14 year olds write all the time. While all the lower cased lettering makes the English teacher in my cringe (j/k) :rotfl:, your gift for writing is very obvious. You really have a way of telling a story and making people laugh.

I can't wait to read the rest of your report. You've got me hooked. I love reading alternative views of the same story! :goodvibes

NMAmy thank you for reading, i am glad you like it. I want to post again soon i just never seem to have enough time.

ohMari i would kill for free dessert. :) My mommy knows i am writing a Tr she monitors this like she monitors my myspace. better safe than sorry

oybolshi thank you for the compliment i really like to write.

njdisneyfreak I am glad that I am not being graded on this :teacher:
I love to write short stories but i am lazy when it comes to puncuating unless i am being graded. :confused3

Reese, seriously, you need to get back to work on this TR, Don't make me ground you from going out with your friends and make you stay home to do this. I will do that. I'm the mom, it's my job (and I want a raise)

Oh please come back and write some more! I just rediscovered your mom's trip report and it's very cool to read about the same events from another perspective! :thumbsup2 You're an excellent storyteller btw :)

Hi Reese

Your mom is terrific! :goodvibes

Come back and give us another chapter soon. Writing is good for the soul (and for entertaining the likes of me on the DIS!!).... great job so far. :thumbsup2

Welcome to the Dis, Reese!

Judging by your mom's TR's, you are alot like my sister (though she's kind of rockerish), so I can't wait to read these too! It seems like you guys had a good trip so far. But a childs perspective is much differen't than a parents. Trust me, I know, I'm 16.

I dont know what just happened but i spent over an hour writing my tr and then it just went blank, all my work gone. it is too late to start over, so i will try again tomorrow. sorry
