Been There, Done That and ThenSome:Timandlesley Do Disneyfor18days!11/2 TR IS UP!pg79

You had a great day....caught a bunch of our favorite rides at MK!!!! Now I will be singing the song from CoP all day....YEAH!!! ;) Why did you guys make the switch from AK to MK????? That was so weird about your buses in the morning though!!! Did it give you any second thoughts about going to MK???

I am so glad that you all had a lovely date night at LeCellier.....that is truly my favorite restaurant at WDW, and Tom and I both LOVE that Mushroom filet....wish I could recreate here!!! We unfortunately are NOT going to get to eat there this year, and I am SO bummed!!!! At least I have my memories of that wonderful steak to get me through to next time!!!

I'm so glad your update included a visit to the MK. I really needed that dose of magic this morning!:goodvibes

Oh by the way...have a Happy Anniversary and a great trip to GH!

I'm glad you guys got off the bus safely. BUT - The bus catching on fire isn't all that bad... when I was little we were staying in Fort Wilderness we were walking around, then all of a sudden we see a group of people walking out of the woods. They had to walk back because on their hay ride one of the horses died!! :headache:

Great update! Sounds like Disney had some bus issues that day!

I'll definitely have to try the tacos at MK next time! I keep hearing about them.
I agree about the seating arrangements at Le Cellier! Too crowded but yummy food!

Can't wait for more!

Another great day! I can't wait until we can walk around without a stroller.

It looks like it was so steamy that day at MK. You did get a lot done though, so that is nice.

What a great date night. I love the dish you got at LeCellier. Yummy!!

I can't believe the bus caught on fire! That's nuts!

What a fun filled day! I can't believe you had to wait that long for a bus! :scared1:Thank goodness they had stuff to keep the kids entertained.
So much fun at MK, and your date night sounds lovely - I'm hoping to squeeze one of those in myself. My kids say they'll go to the Neverland club - hope they don't get nervous and change their minds, as they are prone to do! Maybe I'll show them pics of how happy your kids look to be going, and that'll sway them. Great update!:goodvibes

What a fun day 6! That is hilarious that they had elephant poop in the box!! :rotfl: I bet kids either loved it or hated it! That is sooo cool that they have things to entertain your kids while they wait though. I bet it's awesome to ride the train first thing at MK because most people head for the more in-demand rides. :thumbsup2 And your date night looked wonderful! :goodvibes I've never been to LeCellier, and it was all booked during our week in Sept, but hopefully someday we'll be able to try it. I'm so happy your family got to spend such great time together!

So, buckle up your seat belts, move over and fill in all available spaces and keep your hands and legs inside the vehicle at all times, it’s gonna be a GREAT RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm HEEEERRREEEE! And I can't WAIT to read about your adventures!
We met her for dinner around 5:30- we got a bit turned around thanks to our GPS so ended up running late for dinner – I felt bad but we made it there as fast as we could
.

We really didn't wait long, girl! Stop feeling bad!!

Dis meets are so strange because you already feel like you are best friends with someone you have never even met. We instantly hugged one another and were excited to finally meet one another face to face.
This meet with you guys was actually my very first true DisMeet... and I couldn't agree more! It was strange, but so wonderful that we all just clicked instantly. I always read about that happening, and it was awesome to finally get to experience it!!

Here are Susie and I:

Two peas in a pod, we are!

Tyson and Shae were there and were as cute as their pictures.
Aww, thanks! I felt exactly the same about Luke and Lauren!

Shae was so adorable talking about Illuminations, I wish I could have videotaped it but in her cute little voice and hand motions she made a ball and said “there is the earfff (earth) and it opens up and then THERE IS FIRE!!!"

Oh my gosh, she did this the ENTIRE car ride down there last week!! I could just eat her up!

and she gave us a FLAT TYSON and a FLAT SHAE!!! YEAH!! Such fun. Here they are posing with their flats:

I'm so mad I didn't take the time to go get contact paper. That packaging tape makes them so hard to photograph. Oh well, lesson learned!

What a great family – we had such fun meeting them. It was great meeting Susie, can’t wait to meet her other half (hi Matt) someday and hopefully we’ll experience Disney together one day now that we both own DVC.

We felt exactly the same way! You all are fantastic!!!

The kids were in rare form, here they are sprinting up and down the halls around 11pm in their underwear (don’t ask/don’t judge : )

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Awesome!!!
We enjoyed lunch in the beautiful new Indianapolis airport – it really is nice now- WOW!

Isn't it, tho? I'm so proud of our little city!
Well, my grandmother had been rushed to the hospital and they didn’t know if she would make it

I'm so sorry to hear about this. How are things?

Lauren enjoyed having someone to talk too : )

Cute!

And we were on the bus and gone by 5:00

WoW~ That is SUPER fast!!

Tim and Luke were so excited to be there, they instantly fell to their knees chanting “Disney”!!! and kissed the ground:

This made my day, thanks!

Here was the bed:
02650.jpg

Beautiful!!

THEN we had to have the “do you realize how fortunate you are to be in Disney for 19 days when most kids would kill to be here for one week” speech

We usually have to make this speech when Tyson starts BAWLING when we have to leave. We tell him that most kids leave Disney and don't know if they'll EVER be back!!
Tim was hoping he’d get a masculine character on his
:rotfl:I'm guessing he didn't get one....
and he got MINNIE MOUSE!!!
:rotfl: YESSSS!!! (He and Tyson have the same annual pass character now!)

we soon realized that Lauren’s bravery from last year had shifted a bit due to her age and the stages our kids go through with rides in theme parks. She freaked out and didn’t want to ride.

Tyson is suddenly afraid of ToT again:confused3 What the?

Me and my baby in the car:

You guys are ADORABLE!!!

Tyson and Shae enjoyed it as well:

Thanks for sharing, Luke and Lauren!

and she said “NO, what do you think, this is an ice cream joint?”
:scared1:WHAT WHAT WHAAATTT?!?! Really?!?! That is so not ok!!

But SUPER SURPRISED to see gifts from our DVC agent, sooooo sweet. And these autograph books for the kids, which was AWESOME because both kids needed new ones:

That is one awesome DVC agent!!:thumbsup2

So I had to call down to dining to ask about the Father’s Day surprise which unfortunately was no longer a surprise,

You poor thing! I'm sure Tim loved them, nonetheless!!

Tim started acting silly and giddy dancing around the room and saying “I’m DANCING. . .in DISNEY” . . . . “I’m clapping my hands………………….. IN THE JAMBO HOUSE”…………….. the list/actions went on and on and of course the kids joined in.

Ok... why is there no video of this?!?!

It was one of those HOT and HAZY Florida mornings that are reflected by the fog on my camera:

Gotta love it!

This was weird this time, they were holding everyone until 8:00 a.m. so there was a LONG line backed up through security of those of us with reservations at Crystal Palace and the castle waiting to get in.

That's strange... I wonder why they changed that?:confused3

Kids with Pooh

I don't know why... but that made me laugh ;)

(I don’t know what I was thinking wearing a visor this day for our only family castle shots – oh well!)
The visor works... work the visor, Lesley... work it!!

And this is one of my favorite shots of the trip, JUST LOVE THIS PICTURE!!!!
02950.jpg

That is just perfect! Send it to Disney marketing immediately!

Aw looks like you and Tim had a great date night. What all did the kids do at Simba's Clubhouse? I have always been curious about those places for kids!

THEY HAVE CHANGED THIS!!!! The lady got the names of EVERYONE who wanted to wake up Tinkerbell in the store (by this time there were like 8 children) She took each of their names and wrote them on a certificate. And then we ALL PARTICIPATED TOGETHER in the ceremony. The kids were clapping and chanting “WAKE UP TINKERBELL, WAKE UP TINKERBELL!” Then, what happened before still happens, the store has pixie dust lights go all over the place which is awesome, but what is enhanced and better than before, is then Tinkerbell appears on a big screen behind the counter and waves to everyone. Then the wonderful CM sprinkled all of the participants with pixie dust. So if you are in the Magic Kingdom at rope drop, give it a try, as long as you get there within the first 5 minutes or so of Tinkerbells Treasures opening you should have a shot!!!

I'm going to be honest and say I've NEVER attempted the wake up Tinkerbell thing, because I just didn't want to deal with the stress of having to get there first. This makes me feel so much better! We will try it next time!!:thumbsup2

One of the best things about having Small World to yourself, is we each get our own row on the boat

How cool is that?!

We got to the tent around 9:50 and the wait time already said 50 minutes, YIKES! Well, Lauren and I were bound and determined to wait, The line went by quickly. I actually considered us fortunate because people were talking to the CM’s in line and they were telling them that the average wait time is THREE HOURS to see the fairies, YIKES!!!!

Both times Shae and I went to Pixie Hollow in Toon Town, we had to wait over an hour. I'm glad the line seemed to move fast for you, because I felt like it was the SLLOOWWWEESSTT line EVER! ! The first time we went, I thought it was so slow because there were FIVE fairies! (The princess line was FLYING compared to the fairy line). Then we got in there and there were only three...:confused3 Still don't know why it's so slow. 3 HOURS?! That is hard to believe. The line would have to be out of the tent for that to happen. Maybe it does!

This is such an amazing exhibit, and the CM’s working it are amazing. Lauren truly believed she was the size of a fairy as we entered the fairy world.

I agree... totally worth the wait!!

It was SO super hot that day, heat index of 107!!!
:scared1: When we were there last week, it was only in the low 90's and it still felt like we were going to MELT! I can't imagine 107!!

I always attempt photo’s of this ride, but without the flash they never turn out.

And we THANK you for not using flash. We had several rides ruined last week because we were in a boat filled with flash photographers:mad:

And then Tim…………….. well…………………..uh………………………found some hand cuffs : )
07850.jpg
:worship: I have no words for this picture. It is perfect!

I have to say, Tyson is here reading all of this with me and he is LOVING every minute. Thanks so much for taking him and Shae with you on your adventures. The silly pictures of Tim and Luke are making Ty's day!!

As we were coming out Tim announced to everyone within ear shot “WELL, THAT’S 10 MINUTES OF MY LIFE I WON’T BE GETTING BACK”
Seriously, if we ever get Tim and Matt together at Disney World, we could be in some SERIOUS trouble. SERIOUS!!

Tim entertained us (and a few people standing by us) by randomly appearing in the gift shop with different items he was interacting with every few minutes, it was halarious:
I cannot stop laughing at these pictures. What a NUT!!
so I spent most of this meal waiting in a restroom line – lovely.
:sad2:

we never waited very long for buses, always had a seat (except for one night, which I’ll discuss later).
Ooooo.. a teaser! You're so sly, Lesley!!

I loved how Lauren was old enough to go down on her own with the life jacket, it was a great time swimming.

I am so ready for both of my kids to be independent in the pool. When I can actually SWIM instead of lugging one around!

(sometimes you wonder why you even bother showering!?!)

Agreed!!

And then playing on my iPhone:
Our iPhones SAVED us SOO many times on our last trip! Love those things!!

This expression I caught on her face cracks me up:
13250.jpg
 Good one!!

I had TWO Tokoyo Sunsets (in my opinion the best alcoholic drink on property- they are SO good) I could have had three, they are AMAZING!

What is in them? What do they taste like?

Dug was SUPER EXCITED!!! “A BALL, A BALL, OH BOY OH BOY A B-A-L-L!!!”
14950.jpg

(for those of you who haven’t seen UP yet, you won’t get that little joke, but trust me, you need to go see that movie, it’s GREAT!).
I get it! I get it! Tyson LOVED this picture... nice one!:thumbsup2

And I tried to take a good picture of Tim and I in line and Tim just wasn’t cooperating

You gotta love him, no?

They did some typical dog bonding (o.k., SERIOUSLY I didn’t stage this photo, it was my crazy son’s doing):
16050.jpg
:rotfl: And you have all of US cracking up. Way to go, Luke! Like father, like son!!

I got up and looked outside and it was thundering and raining so I let everyone sleep Eventually everyone got up around 8:30, we got dressed and headed down to Mara (AKL’s food court) for breakfast.
Your Disney MoJo was working that day! Can you imagine dragging everyone out of bed to go out in the rain? Ick!

Then I got a call from Tim and Luke who were looking for us, I told them where we were and they found us

What did we EVER do before cell phones?!?!

That was my goal of the day, I had to see that Nemo show after all the great things I had heard about it.
:hug:I'm so proud of you!

The line started to move about 15 minutes prior to showtime

That LATE? They usually start letting people in 30 minutes prior! strange...

We ended up with great seats (that I highly recommend). Just by luck we ended up in the first row in the upper section in the center(there are two sections, lower and upper). So we got to see tons of action when the performers would roam around they would be RIGHT in front of us – it was great

When Tim sent me a picture of your seats on the iPhone, I KNEW you were going to get great Dory/Marlin time! We've had those seats before and have tried (unsuccessfully) to get them again. I hate how they herd people in there. You really don't have too much say about where you get to sit!

This show was BEYOND AMAZING! It gave me chills, it was seriously like a Broadway musical. The talent of the actors and actresses is amazing, you HAVE to see this show if you haven’t already.
:cool1::cool1:So glad you liked it!!!
