We are in a category 5. We are traveling with two children - one 7 and one 2 1/2. We want to let the younger one sleep on the converted couch while the older one will sleep on the upper berth. But due to the youngest's age, we want to have bed rails there. Does DCL provide these? Our TA told us today that the bed rails were "in the closet" but I thought I remembered reading here that you had to request them. Can anyone assist? Or is there something I can go and buy at Babies R Us so that I am SURE that we have what we need.
Thanks in advance.
Jeff

You need to ask your stateroom host for a bedrail. They have the nice messed Graco ones. :) They will set it up each night with the bed. No need to store it in the room.

We forgot to order a bedrail for our 2 yr old - and were pleasantly surprised to see they had it ready for us anyway and there was a towel monkey hanging from it!!- how's that for service!! :thumbsup2 It was set up each evening at turndown :) They also had a baby lifejacket in the closet - I was really impressed with my toddler ready stateroom!! :)

Our 3 yo slept on the fold down couch without a rail - he is a wild sleeper (we call him the "flopper") as used a rail at home, but the way they make up the bed is like a sleeping bag - covers are very snug - so we had no problem as he could not fall out.
