Bed rails for late arrival

We are coming down to Disney next month and had a quick question. I expect us to arrive to the hotel maybe 10:30ish at night, and our one son really needs a bed side rail. Is there any way for us to request that after our room is assigned but before we actually arrive at the hotel?

You can add a request to your reservation. This of course does not guarantee they will be in the room but better than no chance at all. If the rails are not there call housekeeping and request them. This may take an hour or 10 minutes.

We always arrive late and had very good luck getting a couple of bedrails. We put in a request but also, as soon as we arrived at the resort I always went to the lobby to check-in and also request bedrails then as well.
If you do not get a rail that night, for a quick fix, we undid the sheets on one side and then we took the extra pillows blankets etc and lined them up to create a decent size 4 ft long hump and then pulled the sheets over it and tucked them in.
Make sure to bring Clorox wipes to really clean the bedrail.

Just wanted to comment what actually happened on our trip. When we checked in online, there was no place to request bedrails or type any sort of note to anyone. On arrival day, when I got the text that the room was ready I went into the Disney app and hit "contact front desk" on the resort section. I'm pretty sure it put me to someone in a call center, but they were able to take my name and room number and when we got to the room a bed bumper was there waiting for us.
