We'll be at WDW next June. Can anyone tell me if the Kafka Kook Ties - available from REI - are effective in Florida. You wet the scarf and the water cools you by evaporating. This is great in a dry state like Colorado where I am evaporating even as we speak. Does this principle work in Florida or will we just mold? Has anyone tried these - or a similar product?

Thanks as always for your help!

I have tried a similar product with "cooling gel beads" inside. They worked but were thick and uncomfy to wear. In the summer though I would use them. It does cool you down.

We tried tham last summer. The kids wouldn't wear them after a while and they do feel heavy when they are first soaked. They were nice for times I was outside sitting or waiting for a parade.
