Beaches with Big Waves (Western)

I know that it is obviously subject to weather conditions but I truly think one of my son's favorite days in his entire life was the day we went to Orient Beach in St. Maarten and experienced some pretty big and strong waves. Big enough to knock you off your feet and take you for quite a ride. He still talks about that day quite a bit and it has been over 3 years. Unfortunately our dates did not work out so we are going on a Western this time around so no return trip to OB. Any experiences with beaches that tend to have larger waves in Grand Cayman, Cozumel and/or Costa Maya?
