We are having dinner at Kouzzina next Sunday and afterwards wanted to get ice cream -- do you all know if Beaches and Cream is a counter service restaurant? Can we walk up and get ice cream cones and then walk around the Boardwalk? Thanks!!!!!

They have a walk up counter for ice cream. You can order what you want and enjoy the tables outside or stroll around the grounds. Enjoy

The actual restaurant is a table service restaurant, but there is a walk up window where you can order cones and some other ice cream treats.

Just got a butter pecan shake and a chocolate chip mint shake at the take out counter at Beaches and Cream, so yeah to your question!

Just in case this matters, I have read on here that you can't get the special sundaes from the walk up window, like the peanut butter one that sounds amazing, or the others. But you can get milkshakes and basic cones.

I've never actually been there though so I have no idea if this is accurate, but it's what I've read, and wouldn't want you to be disappointed if it's true and you wanted something else.

We ordered the mini kitchen sink that comes in the Mickey pants sink last week from the take out counter. I wasn't actually doing the ordering so I'm not positive about the other large sundaes:confused3, but I saw others walking around with some elaborate looking sundaes during our stay there so I think they're available:thumbsup2

There is also ice cream at the candy store between Kouzzina and Boardwalk Bakery, just in case you didn't want to go clear across to Beach Club.

Does anyone have a photo of the Mickey pants? Where can it be purchased (I.e., only at Beaches or maybe MK)?

My DH and I ordered the No Way Jose from the to go counter. It seemed smaller than what you get inside, but still very good!

I haven't tried it yet myself, but I believe the Mickey Sink sundae is also available at the Plaza/Main Street ice cream Parlour in MK.

We are going to Cape May for dinner, but thought it might be fun to go to Beaches and Cream afterwards and order the huge Kitchen Sink for our family of 6. Do we need an ADR for that?? My kids would flip if we did that.

I'm pretty sure you need an ADR for the original kitchen sink because I think they only serve that at the tables.

The only thing is that Cape May has a dessert buffet.

I wanted to do Beaches & Cream just for dessert, too, and I asked the question here and people said you can order whatever you want. BUT for sit-down there you do need an ADR. You could pay out of pocket versus using your plan of course.

The menu offerings and sizes at the to-go window are more limited. You also can't get the original kitchen sink sundae there.

You can make an ADR to sit in the TS side and just order ice cream, if you wanted to. They also have a counter with stools that is first come first served (with no ADR) which would give you access to the full menu as well.

I'm not sure that's true about the counter, or maybe it was and isn't anymore?

I had an ADR that I was earlier for, was by myself and made to wait until closer to my reservation time even though there were open seats at the counter.
