Beach Club studio occupancy

We have a studio at the Beach Club for 5 nights in March. I'd like to fly my grandkids in for a couple days early to stay with us before their parents arrive. They will be 16, 14, and 11. Has anyone put 5 in a studio with an okay from Member Services?

I just chatted online and the CM said I would be better off with a 1 bedroom, but I don't have the points available. I thought if you didn't ask for additional bedding or towels it would be okay.

I don't want to buy airlines tickets unless I know there won't be a problem getting them on ME and into the room.

BCV studio occupancy is 4 plus an infant under 3 so you would not be able to have all 5 of you listed on the reservation which means one would not be eligible for ME. AFAIK they are beginning a refurb in January that will be adding a murphy bed and the occupancy will then be 5 so unfortunately you're just a year or so too early. There are other resorts that have studios that allow 5 though or else you could do the 1BR. Other resort studios that allow 5 are VWL, VGF and PVB. BWV is currently getting renovated should be finished by then and would allow 5. Actually, the pool/garden view at BWV already allows 5 to be booked.

Unless the room is renovated, you will have a queen bed and a double sleeper sofa. That's not much room for 5 people those ages, even after they add the murphy bed. As Kathy said, it's not allowed to be booked at this time. I tried it online and got this error "The room type selected cannot accommodate your travel party. Please make another selection."

What's the age limit for using DME without an adult?

The info I've seen stated that it was changed to 12 last year from 16 previously.
