Hi there - Do any of you remember any of the room(s) you've stayed in at the Beach Club - standard view. I've printed out a map of the rooms and I'm trying to decide what type of room request to make. We definitely need a full balcony or patio because we spend a lot of time out on the balcony chilling out and drinking soda. And talking.

I know the 2nd floor has some full balconies - how about the 3rd and fourth floor.

I guess the question is what is your favorite standard room you've ever stayed in at the BC?

Thanks -

Pam

I like spending time on the Balcony too. It's relaxing after a long hot day to have a soda out there and watch the world go by. The Disney world that is.

You're nuts - I bet you like to sit out there on the balcony and burp words, don't you? And have burping contests with your DW?

P.S. In case ya'll haven't figured it out, Uncle Albert is my husband.

Thank you. I don't know how "cute" we are if you had the room beside us and you heard the burping contest. :rotfl2:

Anyone care to share their standard room favorites?

That is you guys?????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How behind am I?????

Anyways.,..... what about asking for the first floor?? We really like the first floor!!! You are Dixiamos??????????????????? Yeah Im blonde!!!

Had room 4548 in late May. We could see Illuminations off to the right. View of trees right off of balcony - the covered the sound from a nearby road. Close to quiet pool, elevator and back way to Marketplace. Anything in the 4548 thru 45xxx say 60 should be good. Don't know whether across the hall is considered standard or Waterview (because of quiet pool) But they would be good also. Beach Club is great!

Just to clarify, those rooms would have a full balcony AND illuminations views?? That sounds perfect!!

Our room had a full balcony (one of my major requests - DH and I need space after putting the kids to bed for an adult beverage). You also saw Spaceship Earth off in the distance. I don't know whether it was considered non-smoking - but I smoked for years and now I am really sensitive to the smell and I smelled nothing. I also didn't smell any cigs out on the balcony from anybody around me. It was a GREAT Room. Have fun.

I thought he had to know you! Do opera singers burp and in what key? :rotfl:

Well - that's a good question. yes, they do burp. Uncle Albert says it's usually a B flat.

Thanks for the good room ideas everyone.

Where do you find the resort room layout map? I know I have used it before, but it is not where I thought it was...

Just back! We were in 1581, and what a great location! We had a courtyard view, a patio, and we were right around the corner from The Marketplace. My dd was disappointed that we didn't get to take an elevator, but after a couple days, she commented how nice it was to be on the ground floor.

to everyone who has responded. I have the map printed out from Disneyzone. I checked out #1581 - that' looks like a good section. Or, we've been interested in staying in the quiet garden patios #1512-#1530. Nice and secluded.

Anyone stayed there before?

Anyone else want to share their room experiences?

I'm so excited now I can't hardly concentrate on anything else. 20 days and counting.

I'm the same way...I keep looking for the best rooms to pick and go voer the map. I can't wait to get there. We haven't been to BC since '03 and are soo excited to go back It sounds like a lot has changed. I am looking forward to checking out the Marketplace!
I really have HAVE to go clean out some closets!!! I can't leave the computer though!

What exactly is the Marketplace? We haven't stayed at the BC since 2002, so this is new to us.

Here is a link for this new quick stop eatery. I don't know how new, but for us it will be new <http://allearsnet.com/menu/menu_bcmp.htm>
What are your BC days and do you have any children?
