Beach Club Resort pool in December?

I am going to be staying at the Beach Club Resort mid-December. I was wondering if you can actually swim or will it be too cold.
are the pools at the Beach Club Resort heated?

We stayed at the Yacht Club in Dec 2000. The two hotels are connected and share Stormalong Bay. Our temperatures that year in mid december were in the 80's, so we swam everyday. Stormalong Bay is really great fun with the kids and i am sure it is heated as are the quiet pools. Stormalong Bay is not open late, but the quiet pools are.

Yes - the pools are heated.

We stayed at BC for 2 weeks in Jan.2001 and it was really cold some days but the pool remained open and was heated -

The resort pools are all heated. We have traveled in Jan several times and have always gotten soem swimming in. Sometimes the air is a little chilly when we get out, but swimming outdoors is an important part of a Florida vacation in the winter for Northerners like is.

Just got back and it was fine.Unless you hit a real cold spell you should be in good shape!

my experiences have been that December is fine to swim! I think it usually only gets really cold like the first 2 weeks of January.
In december it might be too cold at night, but during the day should be nice!

the pools are all heated!

Yes the pools are heated and the Hot tubs are fantastic and they are in multiple areas.
