Has anyone who's stayed in a DVC studio at AKL Jambo gotten a beverage cooler instead of a mini fridge? I read elsewhere that all the rooms at Jambo had beverage coolers, but I hope they meant cash rooms, not DVC. I really would like to avoid any DVC studios that have beverage coolers instead of mini-fridges. Any?

No DVC rooms have beverage coolers, they are all mini fridges. Some of them just don't have a freezer compartment (but don't worry, the ones at Jambo do have a freezer compartment).

Some DVC rooms do have beverage coolers, maybe not at Jambo, but at Big Pine Key at the Grand Floridian.

No DVC room that I've stayed at in Jambo House has not had a mini-fridge.

I was just at BPK over Independence Day and my room had a mini fridge, just no freezer compartment.

I believe BPK started out with beverage coolers that were replaced with mini fridges within the first year.

And it seems that sometimes beverage coolers are installed when a mini fridge breaks, but a call to housekeeping brings a mini fridge to replace the cooler.

We've always had a mini-fridge at AKL Jambo and Kidani.
