Disney Treasure Dining Room Seating Requests

We will be on the Disney Treasure next May and are trying to determine our dining room seating requests. We are a party of three adults (our DD is 22). We had originally requested a private table, but I have since learned that you can make a request to be close to the stage. However, you cannot request both. The Coco performance is important to us. It looks like the tables are very close together in the Coco dining area, so a "private table" may not really be very private anyway. Does anyone have any suggestions on which request would be best? If you made a seating request, how well did it work for you? Thanks for any experiences you are able to share.

I was on the Wish in February and request a private table. We had great seats for the Frozen show. The tables were separated enough that our private table definitely felt like a private table, too. If the Coco restaurant is laid out similarly, then a private table might still be the way to go.

Ultimately, though, you'll have to decide if better seats for one show outweighs a private table for the entire cruise.

Unfortunately most want to be close to the stage.
Put the request in and on boarding, head to where the dining team are located (was Triton Lounge for us) and speak to the team.
The queue will probably be long as it'll be mostly Palo/Enchanté requests but one of the team will be pulling non-speciality requests out and escort you to the Main Dinning team.

I requested to be close to the stage on the Wish but we were seated about as far away as we could possibly get. We are a party of five and they always seat us with a family of three at a table for eight so I don't know if this has something to do with it.

YMMV but I put in 2 requests for the treasure, private table and a certain MDR rotation and got both. Not sailing concierge.
In coco we had the 1st table to the left as you walk in, far from the stage but could still see and hear the show. The tables really are only inches away from one another.

Typically DCL will not honor more than one request for dinner seatings. The reasoning being that they don't know which is more important to the guest and therefore they don't honor either.

Then I guess I will consider myself lucky that it happened.

We put in a request for a private table and ended up right by the stage at Coco. Almost too close. We were a party of 4, but one was in a wheelchair.

Thank you for the suggestion about talking to the dining team once we board.

I would do the private table request, because if you request a private table you will get it. If you request to be close to the stage— I doubt that request is even looked at.

That would be a ridiculous policy. If we don’t know which of the two things you asked for is more important we make sure that you get none of them. Sounds like bad parenting to me. While I agree with the sentiment to limit yourself to one request to make it easier to get that one, being punished for not following the unwritten rule of not making two requests would be ridiculously bad customer service.

We often combine these two requests and have so far always been granted them. I think the issue is more about private table and certain location in dining room.

We always check when we board if our requests have been met and if not I would tell them that we would be fine to move to a different rotation. The one time we didn’t get the private table that wasn’t necessary. The strange thing was that we moved to the table two tables away from the one we originally had. So it must have sat empty anyway and they just ignored our request…

I think you misunderstand what they do. If there is more than one request, they will do their best to satisfy at least one of them.

It was worded „they don’t honor either“. For me that meant none would be fulfilled.

Yes, if they can’t fulfill both, they should pick one and if you are unlucky it’s the one you weren’t so concerned about. So, it’s best to prioritize by picking only one.

I'm sorry to be a newbie on this thread, but I can't find the answer anywhere, and not for lack of searching!

How do you request a certain rotation? We got Palo Prima Notte :cheer2:but I would hate to be in 1923 that night and feel like I couldn't enjoy the first night's dinner--it looks so good. I've been told it used to be in the app, but not anymore.

Thank you so much for your patience with me.

Just give DCL a call; explain your situation and the cast member will work with you for lodging your request
