Beach Club Questions

Will be first time staying at BC... Do rooms include refrigerator? Any recommended std view rooms? Do you recommend taking bus to and from MK or walking to monorail at Epcot and transferring to MK monorail? How long is boat ride to MGM and is there a schedule? Thanks for any input so exciting about staying there!

We stayed at a villa at the BC, so I'm not sure about the fridge in the room. But I think you can rent one for $10 maybe per day. But don't quote me on that. As far as getting to the MK, we definitely took the bus. It worked quickest for us and was a straight shot. I heard things before my trip that the bus stopped at other hotels, but for us going to the Mk, we were the last stop. The monorail is too far to walk to unless you are already at Epcot. We never took the boat to MGM, so I'm not sure, but we did take the boat other places and they run about every 20 minutes or so. About the view, I think you can request a fireworks view of Epcot. Call and ask a CM, I"m sure they can help you out. Have a great trip, we LOVED the Beach Club! Their pool Stormalong Bay is the BEST! And don't forget the ice cream at Beaches and Creme, yum!

Fridges are complimentary(no additional cost) at all deluxe & moderate WDW resorts. They are supposed to be completely installed across property, but that does not seem to be the case yet - we were at Wilderness Lodge in January 2005. The refrigerators were available, but not installed yet. When you check in, ask if your room has an installed fridge. If not, request one & it should be brought up to your room.
You can always call CRO/WDTC and ask to have your fridge request added to your room reservation.

Defintely take the bus to MK. It's a really long walk to the Monorail.
