One of the customer service agents for Disney mentioned BoG takes walk ups if you didn't get ADRs. Anyone had success with this and could explain the best approach?
Just planned an impromptu trip and only 3 weeks to get thgings in place..

Thanks in Advance,

I've tried many times (at least a dozen different times) to get a walk-up, and I have never had any success.
They always suggest that you try to get a walk-up, but in my opinion it has just caused me to be disappointed.

My best suggestion would be to stalk the ADRs between now and your trip. Keep checking everyday maybe twice a day (or more) to see if you can find a reservation.

P.S. And if any of you happened to be one of the lucky people who just walked up and got in, kudos to you. They probably turn away 100 people for every one group they let in.

Try looking about 36-24 hours prior to when you want to dine. People may cancel before the 24 hour penalty deadline.

If you are looking for breakfast or lunch, try splitting your group up and seeing if there are times that are close together. Because it's QS, you can sit wherever you want for those meals, so, once everyone is in, you can all sit together. We actually did walk up for lunch last August. We were in MK and I noticed, on my phone, they had an ADR for 1 available. We were a party of 2, so I figured chances were good. We walked up and were seated immediately.

Dinner as a TS, is a whole other ballgame.
