Be Our Guest Lunch Fastpass

I haven't read this whole thread, so I'm not sure if the mystery of when BOG FPs open up has been solved, but I noticed something today that I thought might be helpful. We are going to be in the parks from June 4 to June 9, and we're looking for a BOG FP reservation on June 8.

I heard yesterday that June FPs were available and checked, but they were only available (for me) through June 5. I checked again this morning, and now June 6 is available, but nothing further. Coincidentally, June 6 is exactly 60 days from today, so my guess is that the BOG FP slots open up 60 days from the date of the desired reservation. So, hopefully, I'll be able to book what I need in two more days.

Try this. If 5/1 is available, check to see they have a time you want. If they do and you try to confirm it, it will ask you if you want to cancel your FP+ for 4/27. If you like the time for 5/1, confirm it, and 4/27 will be cancelled. If you don't like the time for 5/1, or there aren't any available, just don't confirm for 5/1, and you can keep 4/27. And you can have more than one lunch FP+ per length of stay - you just can't hold more than one FP+ at a time. We were at WDW for two weeks in March and ate at BoG for lunch three times. The day after my first FP+, I made another one for a couple days later, and after that one, I did it again. You have to get past the first one before you can book a second one, but you can do it more than once.

Okay thanks! I will give that a try, so far for some reason April 30- May is not avail to me...even after May opened up. My options stop at 4/29 which is only halfway through our vaca?
I will keep 4/27 at the very least, I was just hoping to avoid eating at BOG 2 times on the same day - we have dinner already that night.
Thanks for the suggestions! :)

FYI- You need an invite to make this reservation now. We were just there and at the counter the CM wanted to see our email invite. The CM articulated that guests were doing this without being sent an invite. I guess even though guests can make the reservation they are checking.

Oh great, I hope we dont get turned away because I do not have an email invite

What is the BOG invite titled as in the email ? I have so many emails I may have looked over it. I was going to do a search with the title of the email and see if I have one in there. I know I should clean out my email :rotfl:

Did you have your email? If not, did they turn you away? I think this is a little insane, I mean, the onus of proof is on them. if they don't want you to book, then they need to connect to a database of emails that are 'approved' to login in the first place.

I am in no way saying that the PP is incorrect, but I will say, we had a FP for BOG in november, and were NOT invited. People on the dis started saying that those with out true invites were turned away, so like you, I panicked. When we walked up to the desk, I was sweating like a 18 year old with a fake ID. LOL, and there we were, sure as day on the reservation list. :) No questions asked.

Oh good I hope we will get to eat there with the fastpass. Without a fastpass I doubt we will wait. We are really looking forward to trying the new restaurant and will be totally disappointed if our fastpass is turned away. Did you have to show your print out of the BOG order or anything ?

Yes, many people have said that it worked out in the past, but there have been several recent stories that they are now going to ask for the e-mail invite as well. Hopefully more people who are there now can report back.

How do you even get to the point to see the days? When I try to log in on the beourguestlunch page it asks for a reservation id. I've tried my confirmation number and that didn't work. I just asked my agent if he has any idea about this, but he seemed a little perplexed too.

I'd be shocked if that works out for them. If I manage to get a reservation, and I show up with two excited kids in tow, and they try to pull something similar, there will be some polite, but firm, words. I might definitely point out that I have plenty of ADRs over the next few days, none of which I'd be inclined to keep if I can't expect them to be honored. I imagine I'm not unusual in that regard.

The system is arcane and confusing enough as it is, without adding a separate portal for the booking of a single restaurant. Aside from that, though, I'll have registered for that separate site and used my own reservation ID to secure the right to book a table. If Disney doesn't want me booking, that's their opportunity to say so--quite easily.

You need the reservation number shown on the magic band page of the MDE site. 12 digits, no letters.

Add me to the list of people who have made FP+ reservations at BoG for lunch and had no email invitation. We ate at BoG three times during our March vacation. We were staying onsite, and I just went to the website and made the FP+ when my days opened up. The CM at the kiosk at the end of the bridge never said anything - just looked to be sure I was on the list. And I'm puzzled by all the people who have to enter a reservation number on the BoG site. I'm not doubting you at all, but whenever I've gone to make a FP+ reservation, the site has only asked for my Disney username and password. No number needed. It's odd.

Does anyone know if the "official email" says to save it?? I'm just thinking... if I got the email, made my FP+ and assumed I was good to go, there is a chance I could have deleted the email. What would they do in that scenario?

I did a screenshot of my reservation and printed it out, but I was not asked for anything. I hope it works out for you!!

Yes I hope so too! We are going at the end of June, and I am hoping to get another FP for lunch! Even with recent reports of people being turned away, If it was available to book, I would and take my chances! If we know anything about Disney and CM's, its that often they are inconsistant.

So frustrated!
I got the email this afternoon and it won't let me login. It keeps telling me to make sure that the "Reservation ID and names entered below match exactly with your Reservation details."
They do!
So frustrated.

I keep seeing this hint - except I do not see any numbers on the Magic Bands page of the MDE site. All I can find is our resort reservation number that has letters in it. I get an error message when I try to use that number (8 digits including letters) on the BOG site. I've searched everywhere - all over the MDE site and in the emails and materials Disney has sent - no 12 digit number. I'll try to call tomorrow to see if they'll give it to me over the phone.

Mine is on the MDE magic bands page toward the top. It's the same numbers as my resort reservation. Still doesn't work.

Seriously like the other person asked does the email invite say to save and bring it to the restaurant ? How do they even know you didnt get an invite because I doubt people are going to take the email invitation.

And, um... *cough*... If someone were to post a copy of this mysterious email somewhere... someone could copy it and change the name and dates....

Ahem...

In any case, what are the criteria for receiving an email? We have a week-long stay at a deluxe booked, but no email for us. We're even APs.
