Be Our Guest Lunch Fastpass

Hoping for June 7 to open up, and I'm going to give this another try. So upset that it hasn't worked for me yet. If I want thru June 3rd, I could get it. However, that's when we're on our cruise.

I'm afraid I will have to set up a 2nd acct for this, since it's not letting me put in the Resv# for the 2nd part of our split stay. Just hope that doesn't mess up something else.

Planning for a vacation has never been this time consuming, or this stressful.

June 7th is up!

So upset! I still can't get past June 3rd. I tried creating a new acct for me, but it says that I'm already registered. So I tried using my husband's info to create a new acct, but it said that the name needs to match the resv. I change the name to mine, and it says that I'm already registered.

The dates it brings up are for our stay before the cruise. I keep entering the resv# for our stay after the cruise, which is when we're planning to go to the MK, and the dates don't change. I guess we'll be out of luck for BOG lunch, the same way we are for BOG dinner and A&E.

I was able to get a BOG lunch FP+ for 5/29 but it does not appear on My Disney Experience itinerary nor did I receive an e-mail confirmation. Curious what folks are using as proof if there are issues? I just changed the time of my reservation and but after confirming the original time still shows up so not sure which time I actually have now.

To answer one of my own questions - I had to cancel my existing BOG FP then reserve a new one at the new time as the system never seemed to accept the edit to the existing FP reservation.

How frustrating for you, it doesn't seem as if we will be able to get a BOG FP either for our trip, not too worried about it though since we are going for dinner and lunch there was more of an afterthought. If you are looking to go to BOG for dinner, please don't give up hope in finding an ADR. I tell everyone to just be patient and be diligent at the same time (I know crazy). Check for ADRs nonstop online or if you rather call, call Disney dining a few times a day. Someone is bound to cancel and something is bound to show up. Good luck with everything and here is some pixie dust for you and your family pixiedust:.

And, um... *cough*... If someone were to post a copy of this mysterious email somewhere... someone could copy it and change the name and dates....

Ahem...

In any case, what are the criteria for receiving an email? We have a week-long stay at a deluxe booked, but no email for us. We're even APs.

good point about posting the exact e-mail whihc could allow others to edit it it. :)

if you are going to receive the e-mail it will be a day or 2 before you arrive or on the day you check in. Thats what people have posted. I used the BOG FP+ last October and did not get an invite.

I did a screenshot of my reservation and printed it out, but I was not asked for anything. I hope it works out for you!!

Yes I hope so too! We are going at the end of June, and I am hoping to get another FP for lunch! Even with recent reports of people being turned away, If it was available to book, I would and take my chances! If we know anything about Disney and CM's, its that often they are inconsistant.

too many threads about BOG FP+ to read everything but there only seems to be a handful of recent posts of people that were turned away. Wonder if they just got a nasty CM who decided to be a stickler for the rules.

The link has been posted here since last August/September. Disney has to know tons more people are using it than the number of people being invited. If they don't want people using it then they should shut the link down or modify it so only invitees can get in. If they choose not to, then they should honor the FP+

When I made my BOG fast pass, I did a screen print of the confirmation page that lists all the details. I will have that printout with me when we go for lunch!

:rotfl: I would like to see it.

I sent an email asking about the invitation to BOG for lunch.
I said I have a friend who received an invitation with a fastpass for Be Our Guest for lunch. I would love to try out the new restaurant and wanted to know how I could get an invitation with a fastpass + for it ?
Maybe I shouldn't of done this but I was hoping they would send me one since I was interested. Here is what they sent.

Dear Mary,

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort.

We do apologize, but the FastPass+ for Be Our Guest is by invitation only and is random. It cannot be requested. We apologize for any inconveniences.

Have a Magical Day!

If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact us.

Sincerely,

Kasha Walker

I guess if they turn us away we will go eat lunch somewhere else unless the line is not super long for BOG

We're going the first of June and I just got my fastpass and made our lunch reservations!!!! :yay:

What is the latest date they are booking FP+ for? I have seen June 1, we will be there on the 15-19. Anyone know when it opens up?

Here is my dilemma now!! I was able to make a dinner dining reservation for BOG for our upcoming May trip. This reservation was made at the 180+ mark.

Now I tried out the Fast Pass Lunch website and it worked for me. So per that site, I now have a Fast Pass reservation too.

Should I gamble and cancel the dinner reservation now?
Or should I wait till we check into our resort and ask someone if the BOG Fast Pass website reservation is true? And if it is, then cancel the dinner reservation?

If if is then we would rather do the quick service lunch than dinner. Just want to avoid the $10 penalty per person for not cancelling dinner. Also with the question as to whether they will accept my Fast Pass reservation is sitting on my mind. I really want to have this dining location experience and don't want to show up and have them turn us away.
:confused3

We have done this twice(nov. & march). Booked FP+ without being invited and both times worked fine. If you want lunch, plan for it and give up the dinner. I was not super impressed with dinner. I don't think it will be a problem. We also did the line once on our nov. trip(thanksgiving time). About an hour wait.

We had already booked a fp for lunch when I got this email. :)

I was very nervous the first time I used the lunch fp because I was afraid it wouldn't work. My lunch fp was for Saturday and my dinner ADR was for Monday. So what I did was to keep the dinner ADR until I was sitting in the restaurant, eating my lunch. Then I cancelled it.

The other thing you can do is take a picture of the BOG reservation using your cell phone camera. Then you would have proof that you have a reservation if they can't find it.

Hopefully since the letter says this is a test, that soon it will be available without an invitation.

Just curious - do you remember if the number in the e-mail the number was the same as your magic bands/magic express tag or if it was different?

If it was the same, I'm not sure how they're tracking who is really receiving an "e-mail" invitation.

Planning our trip in June. I just literally logged into the website, used my regular log in info for MDE, and our dates popped up. I selected what I wanted, no problem. I was never even asked about a code. I printed our confirmation screen and hopefully no troubles will arise! We did this same thing in October without getting an email invitation. I did enter our Magical Express number last time and it was accepted. Printed our confirmation that time as well and had no trouble!! Good luck everyone! It seemed too easy!

so if i want to book for other people in our party can i do it on this one request? does it ask for a number of people or does it go off of your total number on your room booking number?
we have three rooms total and six people i want to book for.

the FP+ for BOG is based on the number of peole in your room based on the room ressie; it will pull up the people in your room and you can pre order meals for each if you want. You or the others will have to make their own FP+ using their own resort reservation #. I did it last October for my sisters room. she gave me her disneystore.com log in and password and I had no problem making one for her family as well as mine,we had overlapping times. The day our dates opened up I did one FP+ on internet explorer and the other in Firefox. I had set up the accounts hoping we would be able to use it and was all set to go.
