Be Our Guest Lunch Fastpass

From reading this thread it looks like I cannot book my FP+ for BoG Restaurant for lunch yet with my arrival/departure of September 20-28, 2014.
Is this correct?

I just went onto the site now and it says no FP+ available, choose different date but thinking this is just the means I cannot book yet.

I hope I am correct LOL

Yes you are correct. At this time you have to be within 28 days of checkin.
 
Just an FYI for others, I received an email invitation for a BOG FP+ today, but can only book through the 17th. I'm waiting for the 20th to open up.

It is not 28 days of check in. It actually now is 27 days but 27 days from what day you want the FP for. If you don't want it for your check in day then you have to wait the amount of days after. I wanted mine for the 5th day that we are in Disney so I had to wait 5 days from the check in date.

I wish Disney would be consistent - it keeps changing.

I didnt realize i would have to pick our whole meal too.

You don't HAVE to. There is one section to click to select the meal in advance and another to choose when you get there. I believe even if you select your meal in advance you can still make changes when you get there.

I received the email invite and attempted to make a reservation, but my son doesn't show up as a guest, only me and my husband. Has this happened to anyone else? I have 2 different reservations with a split stay. The reservation on the email invite is my DVC reservation which clearly shows my son as being in the room. I have made all of my fast pass reservations without a problem either. :confused3
 
I got the email yesterday, we are within the 28 day window, and when I go to make a reservation, it only shows up to Aug 7th for available dates.

I called the MDE tech support group and they said they have no control over this site whatsoever, and that it is managed by food and beverage actually, who supplied them with no support information, according to the CM I talked to today.

I am wondering if their system is still seeing the original reservation we made before we adjusted it to a different time, because we switched the days for this trip to, and I wonder if once we get past those dates, we will be able to book for the actual dates we will be there.
 
Set up a new log in using a different email for the be our guest link and use your current reservation number once you log in with the new email.
 
I was up this morning and August 18th was available, I was happy that I had read about refreshing your page so that you see different time. I did not get a confirmation # or confirmation e-mail, so how do I know that my reservation went through? The only thing you can do when I go back in is make a new reservation. I guess I made a reservation.

My reservation was confirmed at the end, and when I log back in, I can view or change my existing reservation.

Are you unable to view or change your existing reservation once you make it? I cannot. That is my situation.
 
Just booked at 7am for lunch on August 18th. Lots and lots of time choices.

ETA that it doesn't give a number at the end, just said 3 guests confirmed for date and time. And when I go back in, the button to "View your reservation" is now available.

Yay!!! Me too! Only I saw only one time slot available, 12:30-1:00. I didn't know you could refresh the page to see more! Oh well, that time works for us anyway. I took a screenshot of the confirmation page, but when I click on view or modify your faspass, I get the confirmation
page anyway.
I am just so happy to finally get a fastpass. The last time we went to WDW BOG had just opened and getting inside was nearly impossible. I couldn't have known what I did without the help of the DIS so thanks everyone!

**Edit** Just want to add that I just went back and modified the fp+ for a slightly later time. I didn't like the first couple times that were initially given, so I refreshed and found a time I liked. Don't know if ppl are having difficulty viewing the confirmation page or modifying their fp, but I did it all from my phone with no problem. I think you should be able to go back and view your confirmation page any time no?
 
I got a FP for Aug. 16th over the weekend. And then this morning I got an official invite from Disney to try the new system...interesting :)

Has anyone been able to get a confirmation number after booking?
