Be Our Guest Lunch Fastpass

I have searched and posted to this thread in the past (although, admittedly, it's been a little while.) I was wondering if anyone gets this when they try to sign in to the BOG Fastpass website:

I was invited for the BOG lunch on our last trip in April and talked to 5 different cast members at Guest Services and the restaurant and no one knew what to do. I have also received an invitation for our upcoming reservation and have e-mailed Disney customer service on two occasions and either they simply say "it's a test so we can't help" or "it's not our area but we will pass it on" and don't hear from anyone. Awhile back, someone said to try using a new, different e-mail address only for these reservations but I didn't have any luck with that either. I know it's a long shot but thought I would see if anyone else had the same issue and a possible fix.

I got this when I was trying to use my comfirmation # that was only 7-8 digits long that I got when I booked. You have to use the 12 digit reservation # that starts with a 4. It took me a bit to find that but with the help of a couple of my disboard friends I was able to find it using this:
  • Go to your MyDisneyExperience page
  • go to "my Itenerary"
  • use the calendar to find your check in date (you will see your resort)
  • right click anywhere on the page
  • scroll down and left click on "view page source
  • press ctrl F and enter "reservationNumber" in the box
  • click enter
  • The 12 digit # will start with a 4

Hope this helps :thumbsup2

Spoerlx3, thanks for your reply. I actually get this message when I try to sign in so I don't even have the opportunity to enter a reservation number.

Same date I'm trying for (July 18). Please keep me posted when/if you have any luck!

Same to you :) I'll post here ASAP once I see that its open. Hopefully soon! I don't know why they'd just do half the month at a time? Did they do that for June too?

Bad part is that I'm a teacher, so I can't check until about 3:30 at the earliest :( I surely won't be the first to know once it opens unless I can check before school in the morning :)

I would personally like to thank you all for this thread. I just made a fast plus reservation for BOG for lunch. Now I wont have to stand in the bridge in the sweltering heat of June. Love that!:cool1::goodvibes

Yes!!! That part is no fun!! When we went last June it hadn't been open that long. We got in line around 11:30 and waited about 30 minutes before they started handing out the umbrellas. We waited about 40 min to get it and another 10-15 to order and sit down. On our way out we saw them rolling a water cooler up and down the line. I think they were starting to realize how much the water and umbrellas would keep everyone's crankiness at bay! Wish they would've pulled out the water sooner. I felt a little sick to my stomach the rest of the day.

Haven't read all the posts but seems you can only get FP for BOG lunch if staying on site? Am I correct? TIA

Where do you find the reservation number? I saw the post above that said to go to View Page Source and ctl+F for the reservationnumber, but I can't seem to find it anywhere?

Yes. But anyone can eat there, the line just gets long. You shouldn't have much of a wait if you get in line at the right time. I think 2pm is usually a good time. Have a late morning snack to hold you over!

Finally found mine, went to My Itinerary, selected my check in day. Found my resort and clicked on in. Hovered over "Check in online", right-clicked and selected "Copy Link Address"

disneyworld.disney.go.com/trip/online-check-in/resort-reservation-id/44**********/

Unfortunately the dates are all booked out for now, but they're open through July 18 and I stay through July 21, so maybe I can get them for one of the last days when they open up.

Hopefully this helps!

Ugh, just went back to the site and this is the case; no times available for any of the 7 days I can select. I did not try to go past the "select a date" step initially because I'm hoping for a date 10 days past my first check in date.

the way the FP+ test is set up you can only make one for the first 7 days of your trip. If you want one more than 7 days, I think I read that the days after the first 7 will become available after you check in, one day at a time. so your 10th day would show up on the 3rd/4th day of your trip?

They aren't all booked, and they aren't open through July 18. It shows you the dates you're staying, but nothing is open yet after June 28.

Did you try Aggiegrl's trick listed below ... It was the only way for me to find my 12 digit code. I don't know if it will work on IE, but it does work on Chrome and Firefox

I found another way to find the 12 digit number without calling.

Login to the Disney website.
On the My Disney Experience tab, click "My Itinerary"
Scroll the calendar to your check in day.

Now, use your web browser's "view source" feature to see the webpage's code. I use Chrome, so it is under the top menu View>Developer>View Source.

Once you have the source code open, do a page search for "reservationNumber"

You should see the 12 digit code on the same line in this format:

"reservationNumber" value="44XXXXXXXXXX">

Also, make sure you have the EXACT name on the reservation. I couldn't get my mother's room to work until I realized she was listed as First Middle Last on the mailed invoice we received. On the MDE pages, she is just listed as First Last.

OMG, Thank you, Thank you for this :worship: Amazeballs :thumbsup2

Okay, I don't know why it is allowing, but...as a test...

I am a AP holder, and we had booked a FP+ for BOG back in March when we were staying at AoA. I was reading where folks were saying that they weren't having to type in a room confirmation number, so went out and checked. I just signed in using my MDE email and password, and it opened up FP+ dates for the next week for me. I clicked on one, and it did actually offer me available times to book.

So maybe you DON'T have to be staying onsite if you have stayed onsite previously?

Same here -- I was a resort guest in February, but ever since then I can still log in, see the next seven days, and reserve a BOG FP+ for say, next Monday. Too bad I won't be there. :worried:

This is either a flaw or a loophole, or whatever you want to call it -- previous users/resort guests still have this access based on previous reservations. So I guess right now yes, you could be staying offsite and still use the system. It's not set up to stop us.

We are booked September 24-October 1, 4 in our room, 2 are leaving on the 29th and DH and I are staying thru Oct 1. We have 5 day park hopper tickets and DH and I will extend our tickets out thru Oct 1, once we get there.

Hoping I can get some help with a couple of questions.
We will all want to eat at BOG together on our MK day so I will want to try to get a FP for 4 on one day and then a FP for just DH and I on one of the days we are there alone.

  1. Can we book 2 separate FP's for BOG on 2 separate days? Or is just 1 FP allowed?
  2. Do I have to have a park ticket now to book for just DH and I (since we won't upgrade our tickets till we check in)?

:thanks:

These are my educated guesses:

  1. The system is allowing one BOG FP+ at a time per resort reservation number (the 16 digit number starting with a 4). You can't hold two at one time for a single resort reservation number.
  2. All you need is a resort reservation number in order to access the system. It doesn't matter what tickets you have.
