Be Our Guest Lunch Fastpass

These are my educated guesses:

  1. The system is allowing one BOG FP+ at a time per resort reservation number (the 16 digit number starting with a 4). You can't hold two at one time for a single resort reservation number.
  2. All you need is a resort reservation number in order to access the system. It doesn't matter what tickets you have.

Thank you jcarwash! You are always a wealth of information for me! :thumbsup2

This, of course, brings up another question

If I have 4 on one reservation and we have a second reservation for 2,
will I need to book 4 using one reservation # and 2 using the other one or can I book all 6 together if I have our reservations linked?

You can make a second ressie after you have done the first. I did it in April.

Same here -- I was a resort guest in February, but ever since then I can still log in, see the next seven days, and reserve a BOG FP+ for say, next Monday. Too bad I won't be there. :worried:

This is either a flaw or a loophole, or whatever you want to call it -- previous users/resort guests still have this access based on previous reservations. So I guess right now yes, you could be staying offsite and still use the system. It's not set up to stop us.

....and my problem is I want to book a FP for our upcoming trip in July, but I think the BoG site is recognizing my last reservation number because it's only showing me the next 7 days from now, rather than the first 7 days of my upcoming trip. I wish I had an option to type in my resort reservation number so I could type in the upcoming one, but the only thing it asks me is my sign-in info and then gives me the next 7 days from now.

Sounds like there may be a tech issue with your reservation number needing to be cleared out. Contact Disney tech support.

Other than that, you're not missing out on reservations. July has not been opened up yet. Everyone who can see dates in July is stating the same thing: nothing available. I'm sure one of us will post when it is.

I am/was in the same boat. Since we used the BOG FP+ last October, the site was only showing the next 7 days rolling on the calendar, and NOT our upcoming October 2014 dates.

Does anyone else in your travel party have an MDE account? I was able to fix my issue by using the e-mail and MDE login from another guest on our upcoming reservation who hasn't used the BOG FP site before. I was asked to input the new reservation number, and the site was then showing all of the guests under the new reservation and the dates of our upcoming trip ... which aren't open for FP yet, but at least the new dates are showing now

So maybe you DON'T have to be staying onsite if you have stayed onsite previously?

This seems to jive with what I've seen with many folks who have previously stayed on site and used BOG FP+ ... including myself. If you've used the BOG FP before, then your account stays open for the current 7 days going forward on a rolling basis not matter what your travel plans actually are.

Does anyone know if the BoG FP+ window still opens 10 days prior to your reservation? I started reading at the beginning of the thread but that was last year and I know the FP system is ever-evolving. TIA!

Interesting, thanks. I could just make an MDE account for DH and try it that way. Great advice!

I tried to pull up the reservation number, as suggested, but it didn't work. I'm actually not 60 days out yet, I was just hoping to get the number so I'd be ahead of the game when the day comes! Do I have to wait until the 60 day mark to have access to the number? Do I have to actually begin online check in to get it? TIA!

I'm having the same problem. Since it's set up this way, the MyDisneyExperience app allowed us to choose up to 3 FastPass+ selections (and gave us a bonus one, so a total of 4), and didn't account for the Be Our Guest reservations fastpass I made on the separate site.

Has anyone experienced this? I would hate to show up and have all our fastpasses declined.
Our travel assistant told us that the Be Our Guest Fast Pass does not count toward your total. It is a bonus of sorts.
Hope this helps

I logged into the website and put our reservation number and not all members of our party show up, and those that do show up don't have an avatar assigned...I think its got old info from a vacation awhile back. Any idea how I fix this?

Anyone know if you HAVE to have the emailed invitation to be able to register using this site? I've heard that people have gotten confirmations, but they may not be legit, unless you have that emailed invite first. Anyone know if this is true?

Me too! I looked everywhere. Wondering the same thing? Please someone help!!:crazy2:

No, you do not have to receive an email to get a FP+ at BoG. We ate there three times in March by just going through the site. I don't think I have seen any mention on these boards of anyone who has personally been turned away from BoG because they made their reservation though the website without an email. There have been lots of second- or third-hand reports of people saying that they heard of this happening, but no direct confirmation, as least that I've seen.

The window seems to open when Disney says it opens. They appear to open up reservations through a certain date, and then it just stays there until they move it again. Right now it appears that reservations can be made through June 28, and it has been stuck on that date for some time. There seems to be no consistency or pattern to this, so all you can do is keep checking your dates. If your dates haven't opened yet, the site will just tell you that there is nothing available. When the date opens, I can almost guarantee that there will be times available.

Will I be able to make a fast pass for all the people in all 3 rooms? The 3 rooms are linked. When we went in Dec, I could only do it for 1 room. The others would not come up as an option and the reservations were linked then too. Melissa

Did you try Aggiegrl's trick listed below ... It was the only way for me to find my 12 digit code. I don't know if it will work on IE, but it does work on Chrome and Firefox

I found another way to find the 12 digit number without calling.

Login to the Disney website.
On the My Disney Experience tab, click "My Itinerary"
Scroll the calendar to your check in day.

Now, use your web browser's "view source" feature to see the webpage's code. I use Chrome, so it is under the top menu View>Developer>View Source.

Once you have the source code open, do a page search (control F) for "reservationNumber"

You should see the 12 digit code on the same line in this format:

"reservationNumber" value="44XXXXXXXXXX">

Also, make sure you have the EXACT name on the reservation. I couldn't get my mother's room to work until I realized she was listed as First Middle Last on the mailed invoice we received. On the MDE pages, she is just listed as First Last.

These are the instructions that have been working. I used these to find the reservation numbers on both of my pkg reservations. Good Luck :goodvibes
