BCV-silly questions??

Going to BCV studio in less than 40 hours. Can I request trash and towel day to be on day 3 rather than day 4? (and is that request likely to be granted?) 2nd question: With the coffee makers in the room, if I just wanted to heat some water for hot chocolate or oatmeal, do I just fill the pot up and turn it on? Am I likely to get a coffee taste if I try to heat this way? Once again: studios have paper products for 4 people, plastic silverware, and ceramic coffee mugs--is this correct? And is there dishwashing detergent in the studio units? Thanks for the help. I should be asleep, but I can't go to sleep, for some reason.

Yes, you can request to have your Trash and Towel on a different day. I would ask in advance, and call on the same day with a "reminder."

Instead of using the coffeemaker to heat water (you will probably get the taste of coffee), why not use the microwave instead?

In addition to the paper products and ceramic mugs, there's glassware.

Yes, there is dishwashing detergent supplied.

Now go and have a FANTASTIC time!!!

First, realize that your fourth day is really your third day. You check in on Monday, your fourth day is Thursday.

We move our cleanups every time. For our twelve night stays, Sun till a week from the following Friday, we have one set of guests the first week and a different set the second week. We have them forget about the trash and towell day and we have them put the full cleaning service on the day we change guests.

We do this at check in, they put it in the computer and its worked without fail each time.

I don't think there are dishwashers in any of the DVC studios. There aren't any I know in BCV or OKW studios.

There are no dishwashers in the studios. I believe that the soap provided is dish soap for washing dishes, not dishwasher soap.

No, there are no automatic dishwashers in the Studios.. You will need to hand wash the items you need cleaned.

My studio had -

One small bottle of Palmolive dish soap
Two small dish-washing sponges
One dish-drying towel

However, the paper plates fell apart after we washed them

Disposable plastic plates work pretty good. You can wash them, and toss them before returning home. Don't take up much luggage room. I don't know if they are available in the onsite store or not. Anyone else know about store items?
