BCV or BWV in Oct '09 Avail @ 7 mos....

To All the DVC Vets,

I am interested in the BWV or BCV @ the 7 month window in Oct 2009. Yes, I know Oct has become a popular time for Disney veterans because of the Epcot F&WF, and these two DVC resorts are prime locations for that event. Heck, that's why I am interested.....lol! What I was hoping to get is your opinion on whether I would be able to secure either of these at the 7 month window.

As you've seen from other threads here, October is a very difficult time to get either of the Epcot properties at the 7 month window. But some people do get it - we've been fortunate enough to land a spot for the past couple of years.

The best strategy seems to be to make a reservation at your home resort as soon as you know the dates you want to go. Then, as soon as the 7 month window opens, call for BWV/BCV. If nothing is available then, have them put you on the wait list.

If you call right at 7 months you will have an excellent chance of getting pool/garden view at BWV. BCV and other BWV views may even be available. Good luck!

We own at BWV but didn't decide to go in October for F&W until about 10 months before for this year. I got pool view studio and waitlisted for BWV. It never came through. Pool view was a lot nicer than I expected though. Not sure you'd have any chance at BWV at 7 months when owners can't get it at 10.
