BCV in January

Has anyone been to the Pool at BCV in January? How was the water temperature?

My DH and I were at the BCV's this past January and we swam in the quiet pool- it was delightful and very warm ! You'll enjoy it!

Totally unpredictable. Watch the weather reports the week before. That's the only way you'll know if you should pack sun-tan lotion or a parka. (I've used both at WDW in January.)

It's not the temp of the water you have to be concerned with -- it's the temp of the air!

Like Rocketriter said it can be warm or down right freezing in January.

It's still a great time to be there! Have fun!

For last New Year's the heater was broken at SAB so the water temperature was a bit too cold. But we all swam in the quiet pool almost every day. You just have to get the towel around you quikly most of the time after getting out. Being from the northeast makes you want to swim regardless of the air temperature. In January it's always warmer than being at our real home.

I'd have to concur with theothers. Usually early in janaury it's cooler...in the 60's-70's, but generally more the 60's. Of course, we're from CT so 60 is like a heat wave to us, and we have swum!!!!!!! We've also been there early in Janaury when it's been 30. Of copurse, that was the year that CT had a 2 foot snowstorm, so 30 in Doisney was still better .

Later in January, it was warmer. One year we were there the end of Janaury, and it was 80 every day. That was 2002. We swam every day around 2PM after leaving the parks for a break. It was delightful, and a much-needed vacation, as we had spent the 3 months prior caring for my terminally ill DMIL.

Watch the weather reports in the week or so before oyur trip, and you'll get a better idea.

in the 80s!!!!! Great weather! Only got a bit chilly when the sun went down, but the pool is nicely heated.

All depends upon the outside air temperatures!
