I am coming up to my 7 month mark soon and my DD really wants to stay at BCV. It will be me, Dh, DD, DSIL, DGS(4) and DGD(18months). so we will be looking to book a 2 bdrm. We just returned last night from SSR and we took a bus from BCV and noticed a lot of the rooms have their porch looking over the bus access road. Not the best view. We would like to have a pool view. MY DH is really sceptical about the view. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. We have never stayed at BCV before. TIA

Just make sure you have the pool view noted on your reservation, It is not guaranteed but it's better than not listing anything. Also think about whether you would like to be on the first floor or upper floors and have that listed as well.
You can also ask for a 2BR with 2 queens in the second BR if that is important to you, but it may be hard to get at the 7 month window, there are only 25 in the resort.

The views from BCV are not the best. Some will over look Epcot ...but also Epcot Resorts Blvd. Some the courtyard/BC. Some the pool/canal ...but also may see the parking lot.

Go to DisZip's wonderful website. There are lots of room views to look at.

Also notice all 2 bedrooms are not distributed evenly though out the building. There are no 2 bedroom w/2Qs on the first floor and few with a pool view. (Learned that the hard way!)

And if you are not aware there are three reservable 2 bedroom categories at BCV; lock-off, dedicated w/2Qs in the second bedroom, and dedicated w/1Q & 1 sleeper sofa in the second bedroom.

The views are not the best, but the resort is amazing!! By far one of our favorites - and SSR is bottom on our list. I wouldn't let the view make your decision unless you spend lots of time sitting out on the balcony. Their pool is also by far the best. Good luck with your decision :)

As others have said, you can certainly request a pool view. I did while I was there last week. I didn't get it, but I requested. I requested pool view and a larger balcony. I got road view with the normal size balcony. I probably only get about 50% of my request.

We were just at BCV this past Oct. Got a studio on floor 3 and walked what seemed forever to get to our room.I opened up the balcony door and our view was that of the canal and main road.....great, not happy at all but no big deal. Well, that night, lo and behold we saw illuminations from our balcony and we were close enough to even hear the music quite clear!!!! Of course we did not see the spinning globe but wow, the fireworks!!!! I would stay in that view again any time!

We did have the pool view before at BCV and it was very nice, but a bit noisy at night when the pool got very busy with teens, etc. This was like 10 pm or so, which is not very late for us so we were fine.

The location is fabulous as mentioned above, and I would definitely recommend the pool view and would request it again for us, too. :)

I recommend that you request a 2 BR with a pool view.
