This past Spring break, we stayed at BLT and successfully used the QS dining plan. Next Spring break 2014, we will be staying at BCV and had hoped to do the same. Without having to go into Epcot to eat (we are not AP holders and like to do non-park pool days at BCV), what are the best options? We don't do table service -- my son has ADHD and doesn't tolerate table service meals very well, so quick meals are best. I know we have Hurricane Hannah's, but what else is there? Beaches and Cream is considered table service, right?

My other option is to get groceries and cook, which I've done in the past and don't mind. But it was nice to be on the QSDP this past year and had hoped to do it again.

Thanks!

There is also a market place. And walking over to the boardwalk a sandwich shop. If you are looking for 3-4 days worth I'd say yes, a week with out adding parks, prolly not. Also DTD has a # of them too.

B&c is a ts

Your options are limited if you rule out EPCOT. In addition to HH, the BCV store has some limited QS options. Not sure if the Beaches' and Cream "To Go" menu counts as TS or QS.

At the Boardwalk, you can get QS at the recently expanded Boardwalk Bakery and the Luna Park pool bar (limited selection of sandwiches). There is also a pizza window there. There are some very limited options at the BellVue lounge (lobby level in the BWI wing) for breakfast.

The expanded bakery at the BW should give you some additional options but there really isn't a QS restaurant in that areas. B & C is TS other than some snacks for take out. You can get some options at the Marketplace at BC. I know you said your son didn't do well with TS but an option might be to get the basic plan which you could use at Beaches and Cream (casual, arcade next door), ESPN (also arcade, noisy, a lot of activity) and BRG (outside seating and the boardwalk activities are there). You could then use QS for other locations and maybe the TS for character meal or similar. You can also use snacks for breakfast or lighter items or even consider changing your location if it were that important.

Thank you all for the great advice!

My son's favorite resort is BCV and I promised him that we would stay there on our next trip. We are going to be there for 5 days, prior to our next DCL Dream cruise. We did that same itinerary last year (starting at BLT) and it was a great vacation. Since it's only 5 days, perhaps we can get away with just the QS plan, using the options you have all suggested.

:cool1:

The Boardwalk Bakery expansion is a great QS choice. I think Boardwalk Bakery was the best QS I had during our recent stay late May. We ate there twice for lunch. One day I had a great salad and the other day soup/quiche combo. The desserts are so yummy - I loved the strawberry cupcake & cannoli!
