BCV - 2br villa question

Can you help me with a BCV question? I have yet to stay in a 2 BR. Do all 2BRs at BCVs have 1 BR with a King, and a second BR with two queens? Or do you have to request this if it's what you want? I thought I saw somewhere that some of the second BRs have sofa beds in them? Is this true or am I confused. Thanks so much!

This site will help you locate the different unit sizes at the BCV. If you look at the map you will see which 2-BRs has the 2 Queen beds in the second BR. You do need to request the 2-BR, 2-Queens in the 2nd BR. There are several 2-BRs with a Queen and a sofa bed in the 2nd BR.

There are three different types of 2BR villas at BCV:

1. 2BR lockoff - a 1BR connected to a studio with a queen bed and sofa bed
2. 2BR dedicated with 2 queen beds in the 2nd BR
3. 2BR dedicated with a queen bed and sofa bed in the 2nd BR

Each has a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen-size sofa bed in the living area so it is just the 2nd bedroom that is different in each case. They are separate booking categories so if you want a 2BR with 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom, you need to ask specifically for a dedicated 2BR with 2 queen beds in the 2nd BR.

We called at 7 months for a 2BR at BCV for early June 07 and requested a 2BR with 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom. We were told they were sold out and when I asked if we could waitlist for one, we were told we could not. So we took the 2BR with 1Q and sofabed and it was just fine. The sofabed was the new type and was very comfortable. Other than having to put it away and take it out everyday, it was not a problem at all. I thought it would be a pain not having the 2 queens, but the room was so nice and the location so wonderful, it hardly made any difference to us!

Just a note...
as I understand it the sofa bed in the second bedroom of a dedicated (#3) is queen size, and it is a full size in the second bedroom of a 2 bedroom lock-off (#1).

There are approximately 25 two BR w/2 Q's. There might me a couple more that have not been identified on DisZip's website yet (these are based on DISer's reports and observation of the building)
