BBQ Pit Masters and the sad state of TV today.

Being the BBQ fan that I am, I had to watch the premier episode of this show even though it was a "reality" show, which I hate. How sad is it that even a show about BBQ, can't have interviews on it without people dropping Four letter words in it every few minutes.

I have already determined that I'm done watching the show.

Enough with putting idiots on TV who can't get a thought across w/o using profanity.

Yeah, I was a bit shocked at Myron Mixon's potty mouth. Maybe he deserves to be cocky, with all his wins, but he seemed pretty rude to me- talking about the other contestants so dismissively.

Loved the guys with the Weber grills, though, battling the torrential rain- and they placed pretty high with their ribs, I think.

Those guys were good... and you just knew that the "kid" was going to be horrible.... Last place in almost everything.... but acted like he was the best thing since sliced bread...

It was funny, him refusing to wake up with his wife yelling "You have NO FIRE in the smoker!!" at him.

"F Bomb"

Hate to point this out, but that's not allowed on the DIS. I'm surprised it hasn't been put into the DIS filter yet, after the big TO DO about it about a month ago.

There's a radio commercial playing around here for Frank's Hot Sauce. It has an older woman with a voice that sounds hoity-toity, and she says, "I put that *bleep* on everything!"

A well-placed *bleep* can be a funny thing!

OMG I was just telling my mom about this commercial. If I wasn't a rabid Frank's hot sauce fan I would stop using their product. I DESPISE those commercials. Its uncalled for and just not funny. I think the ads got pulled around here because we didn't hear them for very long thank goodness!!!

I'm with JJ - I think they are hysterical. Totally inapropriate, and I wouldn't want my kids to hear them, but for me - an adult - SO funny! Its just funny because you hear a "nice old lady" talking, and then all of the sudden... OMG!

I hear that ad only on the classic rock station in NYC. I don't find it offensive personally, but I can see how it must be to some folks.

Frankly, though, Frank's isn't hot enough for me. I'm partial to Louisiana Hot Sauce myself.
