BBB, Pirates League and other extras.

I'm trying to get gift cards for these things I have booked. Does anyone know if the price of the packages includes tax or should I add that to my gift card amount as well?

And BBB and Pirates League both take Disney gift cards...correct?

I paid for my Pirates League visit with gift cards. remember the price does not include extras like accessories, costumes, or the photo they take at the end & try to sell you.

We did the Pirate's League in May. It was so fun and my kids loved it! I'm pretty sure they cannot accept tips. It was a wonderful experience and both kids still play with their gear.

We paid $30 for DS to become Jake (wig, sash, coin purse, sword, medallion necklace) and I *think* $35 for DD to become the pirate empress (face jewels, fingernail polish, sash, sword, medallion necklace). We bought the Photopass+ CD, so got the paper picture of them free and got the digital on our CD. I didn't buy costumes--I made tank tops and shorts/skirts for my kids.

It was definitely worth the money--took about an hour and we saw Peter Pan RIGHT after (DS's FAVE!). Peter said "You look just like my friend, Jake." DS was in awe and made adorable pics with PP. Also got pics with Pirate Goofy right after. DS would NOT let me wash those huge eyebrows off until he feel asleep.

We did BBB for DD when we went in 2009. I paid about $60 for just her. It was a great experience, but I think the PL's was just as good for half the price.
