Bathrooms and showers?

How are the bathroom and shower facilities at the Fort? We have stayed in the cabins there but are thinking of breaking in our pop-up there!

I think they are very good facilities. I haven't seen any better at other campgrounds yet.

The facilities are fantastic. We don't even use the shower in our MH and have installed an extra refrigerator in the shower stall. It can always come out if need be, but we basically only go to the fort. You won't be disapointed.

They are the cleanest restrooms of any campground I have ever been in.

I totally agree, the bathroom,, shower stalls, and grounds are the cleanest I have ever seen! PLus we felt safe walking around after midnite when the parks closed! Me and my son were up at like 2-3 am, we are night owls, and you could hear a pin drop! Awww...I so wanna go back!!:O)

our daughter used handicapped shower when avaible to shower youngest grandson. handhelded shower kept water out of his eyes and easier to get him to shower without screaming. plus had seat in shower to sit him on.

I am so thankful that the bathrooms are great there.

We just tent camped with my son's cub scout pack this past weekend. No running water or electricity from Friday night to Sunday morning. The little boys peed all over the latrines and by Saturday afternoon it was a stinky, nasty mess. My daughter refused to go back in there Sunday morning and held it until we got to the first gas station 40 minutes away.

Thanks for all the great posts! The photos are awesome too!! I feel very comfortable now! We will start planning our next trip at the campgrounds for sure!!

Hate to burst everyones bubble, but one time I saw a speak of dirt on the floor.
Right as you walk in thru the door, there it was, bigger than life itself, a speak of dirt, just lay'n there on the floor. Good thing I noticed it too or I may have tripped over it ! I was so horrified I went screaming out the door for help ! I flagged down a CM that was working near by and told them about my terrible experience. They followed me back to where that speak of dirt lay, but upon return, it was gone.
To this day no one believes me.
I think I'm scar'd for life.
