Basic MF Question

I have a basic MF question. I would direct it to my guide, but I'd feel guilty calling her up after I decided to go the resale route (primarily b/c we only wanted 100 points to start).

So here goes: If we were to buy SSR direct from Disney right now, we would get a Dec Use Year. (I know that's what they are selling). So we'd get Dec 2006 pts and then we get points again Dec. 2007. Here's the question: If we bought today, April 11, 2007, what would we pay w/r/t membership fees?

I assume we would not pay for 2006 MF...is that correct?
I assume that w/r/t 2007 MF we would only pay a pro-rated amount of MF...maybe 9/10ths? Is this accurate?

Just Caskbill's posting on Use Year vs MF years really got me thinking...

The annual maintenance fee would be prorated from when the purchase is made - Use Year has nothing to do with these fees as they are always based on the calendar year. You would basically be paying fees prorated from today - so the fees would be for a little more than 8 months of 2007 - about 70% of the full year's fee. This would be true for any Use Year purchased.
