Hi Emma! I've just been catching up a little on all your progress toward the wedding. I think it's hilarious that you were at the zoo the day of the royal wedding. I thought about you all day that day. I love the cake topper! We had 2 cakes at our wedding. The top of the bridal cake was floral, but the groom's cake had....wait for it....a COW! One of DH's cousins did the groom's cake for us. Then instead of champagne, we had a milk toast. But some people in the back of the room did not realize it was milk and were quite concerned about how I was "chugging" down on the champagne!

I also love your candy buffet. It will be so pretty and so much fun! I think I might just have to have a party just so I can set up a buffet like that.

I've really enjoyed following along with your plans. Just love all your details!

Hi Lenora! lovely to hear from you.. that sounds perfect at your wedding having the dairy-farm related cake and milk toast! I'm so pleased there's ways to personalise our wedding day.. adding in little touches of Disney and football (soccer) to really make it our day!
lol yes most people seem to think it funny that we went to the zoo rather than watch the wedding on tv I have since bought the commemorative magazine and saw all the highlights on the news.. but being at the zoo was a fun day & I'm sure we'll always remember what we did on that 'extra' public holiday!

Hi Stefy... hmmm things left to do.. I need to put together all the favours, make the table plan & name places, make the 'order of ceremony' cards.. pick up my dress & the bridesmaid dresses.. and we have the hen & stag parties to look forward to very soon!!
Most things are paid for too which is great - there are a few suppliers to pay 1/2 weeks before the wedding date, but we're pretty much there.. I'm itching to start getting things out to pack for honeymoon, but think it might just be a bit too soon!





We had another gift on the registry yesterday... a Wishes Fireworks cruise!! so amazing, really looking forward to it

Lol I'd love for someone to unpack our things when we get to our destination.. I always just want to get out & explore!

Really looking forward to the Wishes Cruise - we did the Illuminations one in 2009 which was excellent our travel agent is finding out for me if we can add something like a half bottle of champagne & chocolate dipped strawberries from Private Dining to our fireworks cruise

This is the bag I'll be using on the cruise, and maybe WDW too - I borrowed it from my sister!

I bought an App a few weeks ago for my phone which counts down to our next Disney trip!

It's simple but fun.. the background picture changes everytime you open up the app


We've sent off the paperwork to the registrar for our ceremony.. including copies of the readings (so they can make sure they contain no religious words/phrases!) .. and I spoke to the wedding coordinator at our venue today, confirmed numbers & asked a few more questions about the day!


I also had a quick hair trial today - the beautician thought it would be a good idea to try it again with my tiara..

and.. we got our final 'pre wedding' present from my MoH and aunt today! They've sent us one a month for the last 12 months.. it's been a lovely surprise each time
This gift was a little hamper of Love Hearts, chocolate hearts, heart-shaped post it notes & a heart-shaped sponge

Hi! I loved the gifts from my MoH & Aunt, each one has been so thoughtful - I hope I get to be a bridesmaid for someone so I can do it for them!

The Daisy bag was from the UK Disney Store last year, I really wanted one but each shop seemed to be sold out.. luckily my sister bought one for her trip to WDW last May, and is now letting me borrow it!

Thanks! It's quite funny as I was actually at work on my lunch break for the hair trial my beautician comes to our office once a month to do facials/massages/pedicures, so she scheduled in some time for a hair trial with me.

Thanks Sarah - lol I think that Daisy bag was in high demand! So pleased my sister is letting me take hers on honeymoon, it'll be perfect for the cruise as it has the anchor pattern & nautical colours!

So this morning... I went to pick up my dress!! I tried it on one more time too, it fits perfectly... so no losing or gaining any weight for the next four weeks!
I probably won't post any photos of it on here (just in case..) but if any one would like to see pics from my fittings I'm happy to PM them

I am so so happy with my dress, when I walked back to my car with it in the dress bag, I got a bit teary.. it's really happening, I'm getting married!!

I've also been shopping this afternoon, I bought two pairs of shorts for honeymoon so I think I'm all finished buying clothes now.. looking forward to getting everything out from the bottom of my wardrobe & seeing what we have!


And, Disney related... my copy of Tangled arrived today!! It's not released here until Monday but amazon delivered it a little early.. cannot wait to watch this movie again ... and tomorrow morning we're going to see Pirates of the Caribbean 4 - we both love the first three movies so really excited to see the next installment!

Went to see Pirates 4 this morning and it was excellent! We really enjoyed it.. reminded me much more of the first movie - less CGI & confusing storylines (although I do enjoy Dead Man's Chest & At World's End ) ... the soundtrack was excellent, I'd already bought the cd last week but only listening to it now as we've seen the movie!

Oh and I think I prefer Ariel to the mermaids in Pirates 4 lol



Did some wedding stationery yesterday... these are the 'Order of Ceremony' sheets for our guests..

I printed them out on A5 cream paper, then wrapped in a thin pink paper & tied with a white ribbon ...

I added some pink flowers & ribbon to the baskets - these will be placed outside the ceremony room so that people can take them on their way in. Pleased how they turned out! I think the scrolls will be a little unusual too
