Chester -It's about time you showed up for the party! Wish I was going to be @ the Wine & Dine thing...just couldn't swing it this year. I'll let you guys test the waters & see if it's worth signing up for next year.

Lou - I have no idea how to do it, but if you learn me, I'll sign up for Fantasy Football . And nevermind that running stuff.

Jen - I also enjoyed all your FB pics...looks like you had a great time...Kudos for your course record, even though it wasn't a PR. I'd be happy just to be able to run 13 miles @ this point! Back on east coast time yet????

Colleen - Are we running this dopey marathon or not?

Howard - Awesome job on that 13...sheesh, I'm really a slacker, but it makes it even worse when YOU do that many miles RU all signed up for Ridgefield??

MIGHT be going to a brewfest this weekend in a nearby city, Waterbury. It's $30 to get in, all you can drink from 1-5. Belgian beer tent is $10 extra....hmmmm. Anyone wanna be our designated driver?

Okay, Jodi's in for football. We get enough for 8 teams and I'll do it.

Jodi - Sounds like you want to do one of those 80's telephone party lines. 1-800-BOT-7777. Not sure how to set up a chat room. I use Gmail for work and we usually set up multiple chats working on projects from various places. That's the only place I have ever chatted.

Thank God you FB'd when yoy were halfway on your 13 miler. I was concerned we wouldn't hear from you. Maybe you should start updating us at every mile.


And yes, we are running (or something) MCM. If you already signed up you are expected to be there!

Hello Lou,
This is to confirm that you've created the Custom League named DIS Bots Football League and the team called Mean Machine in that league.

To allow other managers to join your league, send them the League ID# and Password. In your case, the ID# is 769801 and the Password is disbot.

You have chosen for your league to take part in an Autopick draft. Until the draft takes place, you (and only you) can change the type of draft by using the Change Draft Type option found among your Commissioner Tools, which can be reached from your League Overview page.

Your league's draft can begin as soon as everyone is ready, but must be conducted by Friday, Oct 22, 2010. Simply use the Change Draft Status option found among your Commissioner Tools to tell us that you are ready, and we'll notify you by email as soon as the draft is complete.

We have set default player rankings for you, but suggest you personalize them to your liking. All league members can begin ranking players as soon as they want by simply going to the Fantasy Football home page and clicking on their team name.

Fantasy football league is set up. You guys should have received an email invite with instructions that looked like what I have above. I sent emails to your FB email addresses. For those that do not publish their email (i.e. Mike) you'll need to follow the instructions above or PM me your address.

If we get at least 8 teams we are good to go. The draft is automatic and I'll conduct it on Saturday if we have enough teams.

If you are lurking on this thread feel free to jump in and sign up.

Okay, looks like we have at least 8 teams for this BOT Football League so we are a go. If any other BOT and/or plain old WISH person wants to sign up, please do so today or tomorrow. I'll run the draft on Tuesday morning. If we get an odd number of teams for any reason I will have my son sign up to give us an even number.

Ran 18 miles today in very rainy and slightly chilly conditions. The pace was pathetic but the fact that I could get the 18 miles in means I'll probably sign up for the A.C. Marathon (aka Philly Marathon training run). I have lost a step but that's probably due to lack of training due to a hectic schedule (the fact that I love beer doesn't help either).

Aloha! We have returned from eight glorious action-packed days in Oahu. Only two of which we did any actual training, I'm sorry to say. So I've missed two weekends of LRs. Time to get my LA back in gear! Although I do have to say we did a lot - a LOT - of walking and swimming, so I would hope that counts, even though it wasn't formal training. And I consider watching Charlie surf to be XT, since my abs hurt from laughing so much. OK, yes, I'm a mean wife. But he was way out in the surf and couldn't hear me.
