A bean and a stalk of asparagus were walking down the street, when the asparagus was run over by a truck.

They rushed the asparagus to the hospital, and the bean was pacing the floors back and forth, very worried.

Finally, the doctor came over to the bean and said:
"I've got some good news and some bad news about your friend.
The good news, he's alive. The bad news, well,
he's going to be a vegetable for the rest of his life."

Actually I was thinking of more of a Weekend Update like bit where they tell the Vegas' joke and then change the picture on the screen behind them (like they always do) inbetween stories.

My son told me a blonde joke the other day (he's 11) and I just knew it was going to be bad....but it was actually pretty funny and still cracks me up even though it's corny LOL

A blonde walks in to the appliance store and walks over to a salesman points and says I want to buy that TV.
The salesman promptly says that they do not sell to blondes and she leaves in a huff.
The next day she comes back in the store and finds a different salesman and points and states again, I want to buy that TV.
The salesman shakes his head and says, "sorry ma'am, we have a store policy that we don't sell to blondes" and she leaves again, really mad.
The next day she comes in, but with a brown wig on and finds yet another salesman and ask again, "I want to buy that TV". He laughs and shakes his head, then politely tells her that #1 this store doesn't sell to blondes and #2 It's a microwave!
