I admit that I tend to dress much nicer than my children.
But then again, I have a job. When they get jobs, they'll be able to choose whether or not to spend the money on clothes too. And also - when I buy a $70 shirt for myself, chances are pretty good I'll wear it for years and it won't be found 3 months after purchase wadded up into a tiny ball and shoved into the corner of the closet.
My children have plenty of clothes. They even have plenty of name brand clothes. I just don't see the point of paying $30 for something that will be on sale for $18 in 6 weeks.
