I have just arrived this morning after a trepidating trip that had me wondering if I would ever have the nerves to get into a plane again. As soon as I got home I downloaded my pics and showed them to the kids telling the stories (only the G-rated ones, mind you!) of my travels! I miss you all and can't get over the fact that you are so faraway now!!!
This is just a brief notice that I am back! I need to sleep a full night and then I will be able to start working on my report(s). For now I say:
a) the cruise was a blast! I have booked the next one. I hope to come at least with Luiz next year. We will see... There was so much to do that I barely used my luxurious verandah. I woke up everyday with sunrise.
b)the return to WDW was also fun. I found glo and her family in church on Sunday and had a wonderful time with them.
c)Had three fun days at the Hard Rock Hotel. I am actually sunburned! Wonderful pool, great rooms, so and so castmembers (?), full of atitude, but not really helpful. Great work out room too! Incredible location. Very close to the margaritas in Margaritaville...


Now I have to catch up with some 30 pages of previous DisCon boards pages to read!!!

Just one thing, Nancy. Turbulence. The worst in my whole flying life. The plane dropped over the Caribbean then it shooked violently and continuosly for what seemed to me like hours. Compartments door opened. Luggage flew. Everybody literally jumped on their seats. Everybody woke up, even the kids. Really scary. Specially for someone who screams her heart out at Pirates of Caribbean.

I miss you all so much!

I am still a bit out of cyberspace trying to catch up with everything in the house.

1) DD has been going to her new school this week for evaluation for first grade! She is so excited and so am I.
2) DS#1, Luiz, managed to get in the school he made exams for. During DisCon, I learned that he was the 21st among 60 students who did the exams. There were 20 vacancies. But I knew that someone might give up! and that was happened!

3)DS#2 got badly sunburned. He went to the beach with a friend and his @#$%$@@ of a mom "forgot" to put sunblock on the kids. Under a 100s degree sunshine. I learned that just after the cruise, but nobody told me how bad it was. He got second degree burns on his back! He is good as new now, but had to miss classes and still has to avoid sunlight and use a factor 60 sunblock. So our plans of travelling to a nearby beach between Christmas and new Year had to be abandoned.

But everybody is quite happy around here. School friends are always around and the apartment is a general mess. We still have to finish our Christmas decoration and shopping.
