Costco no longer selling Disneyland Resort vacation packages

I saw a post on Reddit that Costco is selling a 3 day ticket that includes LL and a $30 meal credit for $450. It's supposed to be available in California, Oregon and one other state that I cannot remember.

Wow, that's a pretty good deal! Here's what I read about the offer :

The Costco Disneyland ticket offer can save up to $150 per person on the purchase of a 3-day park hopper ticket with Lightning Lane Multi Pass. The new offer is valid for admission May 20 through December 19, 2025.

This ticket costs $449.99 for all ages and includes Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Park Hopper. You would pay $601 for a standard multi-day ticket with the same perks. It's cheaper than the Disneyland Anniversary 3-Day Park Hopper Ticket, which runs $546 with Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

The ticket offer also includes a $30 Disney Dining Gift Card.

Things to know: all three admission dates must be used within 13 days of first use. In other words, you would need to use all 3 days within a 13-day time frame.

Not understimating Costco's reach. I always read the brochures. But I do not think Costco has much leverage left anymore. You do not need Costco you can use google. Sam's Club only sells Disneyland and WDW tickets and provides "discounted rates" to WDW hotels which are never available. The perks that Costco offered were more generous than what Disneyland offered directly...those days are over.

The economy is changing right now and not for the better for the travel industry and theme parks. Costco has over 100M members in the USA and a huge majority do not use their Travel services. The internet has gutted the travel industry. You can easily book your own vacation, airfares, travel insurance and cruises....you do not need Costco or Sam's Club anymore.
I use Costco a fair bit and am pretty savvy; savings are savings. I have a package via Costco for our labor day trip and used them for my last trip as well. I can easily put together my own trip, sure, but I couldn't do it for what Costco offered. Well, not staying where we are at least! I can easily make it a LOT cheaper by not staying onsite!

You don’t need to use these tickets within 13 days😊

Disney pulled the free dining offer. Dropped COSTCO (Disneyland). Disney must think deals were underpriced

Costco’s pricing on vacation packages is typically the same as anyone elses. Occasionally they’ll offer an incentive, but these have become very rare since Covid.

This ticket deal was almost unquestionably developed between Costco and Disney. Costco has occasionally offered standalone ticket deals in the past, such as the DCA-only AP a decade ago.

Nobody knows why Costco stopped selling DLE packages, but I’d guess they’re seeking more $$ (via commissions?) to promote DLR than what Disney is offering.
